Does anyone know how much it would cost for a round trip to the nearest grocery store from the boardwalk.

We will be taking the Magical Express and were wanting to get some coffee, soda, and breakfast food.

Thanks in Advance
Josh

We have done that in the past and decided that we didn't really save any money once we added in the taxi fee. We just prefer to get everything at the little store downstairs. They have most things there that we like to have for breakfast. If you plan on drinking lots of soda the refillable mug is probably your best bet. I bring my own canister of coffee and filters from home.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you this cool tip: We had friends along with us this trip and one night they had a bunch of Corona's and chips and salsa in their room. They said they walked out the front gait of the Boardwalk and just across the street is a little gas station. You'll see it when you arrive on the ME.

We have used wegoshop.com on our last 5 trips and we have been very pleased. They deliver right to the resort at the agreed upon time. They request a 30 minute window and they have always been right on time. If you were not in your Villa Bell Services will hold your order and even keep perishables cold.
We order breakfast foods, juice, coffee, water, soda, beer and wine, cheese and crackers and other snacks. Their delivery charge was $17 and I believe we saved that over shopping in the resort store. It was very convenient and Marge Peck is great to work with.
Good Luck

We usually just walk over to the Hess Gas station. They have quite a bit of food & drinks to choose from & it's cheaper than the store at the hotel.

from BW that is not a bad suggestion. It is across the street from the entrance to BW.

from SSR - oh it is horrible - on the other side of DTD - across that very, very busy street.

The Hess station has a lot to pick from. They carry soda, cases of water, fruit, hot foods, beer, toiletries. It is not a bad walk from DTD to the Hess station. Just get off at the 2nd bus stop at DTD. I would suggest taking a duffel bag if you plan to get a lot.
We usually make a trip and couple it with a hot slice of pizza, pop and ice cream and eat on the curb outside. Saves some serious $$ compared to the same meal at disney.

Or my other suggestion would be to rent a car for the day. We have done this before. We usually spend $30 for the rental. This gives you the ability to go to the store plus you can eat off site while you have the car. The amount of money you save by eating off site could pay for the car rental plus you are able to grocery shop.
