I know I'm painfully late to following this thread but I've fallen in love with the idea of "Disneybounding" four our 20th anniversary in 2016.
Every outfit for me has to fit a few guidelines. One, other than 1 very specific dress, all outfits need to have at least 1 neutral colored piece so I can mix and match pieces. Two, if it isn't comfortable and easy to climb in and out of rides with, it doesn't go. 3, Each initial outfit is a full outfit without robbing pieces from other outfits so I end up with a week's worth of clothes.

And 4, bonus for anything that can be combined with other outfit pieces to make additional character outfits (like the purple hoodie + grey tank for Malificent)
So far I have:
A purple hoodie, blue denim capris and pink T-shirt for Figment (I'm hoping to score some mini horns at a local Anime convention next year) I might bead myself up a cute necklace to go with it if I can find a decent dragon pendant.
A red long sleeve t-shirt, a red with white polka dot and bowed headband for Minnie. I'm looking for some black acid wash jeans or skirt to add to this.
A yellow t-shirt, blue suspenders, and jeans for a simple Minion (We plan to spend a day or so over at Universal and I couldn't resist!).
A charcoal grey tank top, a black scarf with mystical symbols all over it, lots of bangles, matching necklace, and a black skirt for Madame Leota (Haunted Mansion).
A dress I'm sewing with a 50's style flair (made with a teacup printed fabric for the skirt and collar), a Wonderland inspired necklace covered in fun charms, and maybe a small top hat facinator on a hair clip. I also have a simple navy blue back-up dress ordered if I have trouble pulling this off.
Currently, I'm keeping my eyes open for something that reminds me of Tink (Steampunkish if I can manage it) and I'm playing with the idea of something inspired by the song Zippidi-Do-Dah.
I'd like one more outfit but really don't have anything in mind yet that has won my heart. I tend to love going with classics or not as obvious takes on characters/movies. I'm not much of a princess sort of woman so I'll pass on those.
I'm considering something related to one of the following: Mary Poppins, Star Wars, Jungle Book, Maid Marian, Fox and Hound (any excuse for a fox!), Wall-E (or EVE), or Black Cauldron.
My husband thinks its cute and has been helping me find stuff but he really is clueless for ideas. Feel free to add ideas.
