Cosmic Rewind Queue Situation

Wish they’d do a better job putting those in scooters over to the left. E were directed ibernto the right a few times by CMs and was the absolute worst! People were physically shoving me because I was staying next to my mom (in the scooter) and she couldn’t go anywhere! It’s an absolute s-show. We try our hardest to get to the left so that we’re not trampled in the stampede 🙄

I wish they could control it better. We were there for AH last year and my 11 year old son got pushed into a wall by a grown man trying to run down the ramp first. We mentioned it to the cast members and they met us at the end of the ride and offered us a free ride. We are going back next week and we will likely stay with the idea of hanging out toward the left to be in the back of the crowd. This is why we can't have nice things.

I hate the rides at Disney that have those preshow rooms. It’s just a mess. They should just leave the queues in those rooms and let the amount of people in that fit instead of cramming people in and making it a free for all.

If I’m one of the first few people in those rooms I do head toward where the doors will open to let you out. If not, I do as others have said and hold back. Honestly I’d say most the rides if you’re first out or last out the difference in riding that ride is quite low. Maybe a couple minutes.

Sooooo agree. I hate those free for all preshows. If they're going to do preshows at all they should only do them like they used to have for the Great Movie ride (not really a preshow but still); where you stay in a line the whole time.

I was there on Friday and it was not very organized. It was everyone leaving the big pre-show room and cramming into that dark, narrow hallway.
From the reports on this thread it seems like it is still either chaos with the ropes, or the ropes help some. Guess it depends on the crowd. It really is a bummer that queues are designed this way when everything else about the ride (and other rides with similar situations) is well thought out.

I’ve seen this happen more than once and it’s so awful. For safety reasons but also because it totally ruins the experience. I always wonder if this is someone’s first time on the ride when things like that happen, and I’m heartbroken for them.

People who go all the time don’t know how privileged we are and it stinks. Same as the jerks loudly saying the stretching room spiel, etc.

I always treat rides like they are somebody's first time. Half the time, I treat it like it's MY first time as I just like to take it all in. Sure, I know the words, or where the door will open or, whatever, but I like to look around, enjoy being there, absorb the details. I've never understood the rush. Even the pre-show is part of the attraction.
