Cosmic Ray's vs Pecos Bill. Which do you prefer...

Pecos Bills.

Because I've been asked to pick the lesser of two evils.

Seriously, Ray's is just....blah. It's lowest-common denominator from my experience. I feel like at Pecos Bill's I can get something that I find a little more interesting.

We definitely prefer Pecos Bills. Ray's was a terrible experience. (Food was slow, still managed to be cold, and tasted terrible.) Pecos Bills was at least fast, hot, and we enjoyed the toppings bar there quite a bit. Kind of like lipstick on a pig, but it helped, lol. Plus my picky kids like tacos better.

Pecos Bills is our family pick every time because of the location and type of food. Both QS locations have a toppings bar though. At Pecos Bills we all felt like we got little more for our money if we picked the right meal and we all thought it had more flavor than Cosmic Ray's food. Pecos also seemed a little more controlled during busier times; a CM was there controlling the tables, while on the other hand, it took us forever to find a seat at Cosmic Ray's. Cosmic Ray's also felt like it had more of the typical amusement park style food choices, which at that point in our vacation we were already sick of.

Yes, it does, but it's not as appealing to my family. My kids are picky eaters with their burgers, preferring just cheese usually. (My daughter ate exclusively from the toppings bar, lol. She doesn't eat a lot of meat.) But when it comes to tacos, they are much more likely to add additional toppings. My husband likes doctoring up the nachos.

Pecos all the way for us. I haven’t eaten many things at PB but the burger is better than cosmic rays and the taco trio is really good and very filling for $9. I’ve had it several times and it’s consistently good. Cosmic Rays isn’t horrible but it does taste like reheated microwave fast food. Not saying pecos is fresh but it tastes better to me. Also I prefer the theming at pecos and it seems less chaotic right now than CR since there’s construction going on at rays.

I find Cosmic Ray's food to be poor and the place to be hectic. And last time we were there is was super-dirty--food on the floor and splashed all over the toppings bar, etc. I don't particularly like Pecos either, but would choose it over Cosmic Ray's. That said, I wouldn't willingly eat at either of them--CHH, Be Our Guest, Pinocchio Village Haus are all preferable for me, or paying a few dollars more to eat at The Plaza.

Yeah, I think they are pretty good. I can find something to eat at any of the quick service places at MK but just prefer to avoid Ray's and Pecos. Also found seating to be a real issue at Pecos sometimes.

I used to strongly prefer Pecos Bill's, but they took the taco burger off the menu and they charge extra for the guacamole now so neither one is high on the list anymore. I'll stick to BOG lunch when possible.

Well I was going to vote for Pecos Bill for the Fixings Bar and the Taco Burger but I understand that it is no longer on the menu. Cosmic Rays is just to chaotic.

Of the two? Pecos. But either place could be called the "Aramark Cafe," everything comes out of the freezer.

Cosmic Rays is like going to eat at my kids school cafeteria. It's just the lousy, frozen burgers and chicken nuggets. All the QS burgers suck, but at Pecos, I can get the fajitas, tacos or Southwest salad.

On the taco trio, you can mix & match, correct? Say I wanted all three tacos to be the same, I could do that? We were planning to skip Pecos Bills this time because of the menu changes, but this looks good & would be something besides chicken nuggets & burgers.

OP, we enjoyed Cosmic Rays on our trip in 2015. That was before all the bays served the same meals. We had the bbq sandwich & the toppings bar helped a lot. I saw the other day that there is no bbq sandwich offered now, but there is a bbq plate. We also went to Pecos Bills before the menu changed to "Mexican". We enjoyed our meals there as well.
