Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbor House for Dinner

We've always done table service or left MK for dinner. This year we are not doing the dining plan and will do one counter service dinner in the park.

Our favorite lunch spots are Cosmic Rays and Columbia Harbor House. Any thoughts/comparisons on these two for dinner?

We would be eating around 5pm and want to get in and out quickly. Are the crowds better at one than the other?

I doubt crowds would be different. Their menus are too different to compare. Just go with the one whose menu appeals most, or do what we do - go to the one that's closest when you get hungry.

The seating at CHH allows for more tucked away tables, and I've noticed smaller crowds if you head upstairs. So if you're looking for a relaxed escape while enjoying your dinner, I'd say CHH is the better choice. Of course, if you don't like fried seafood, CHH is very limited in their menu. You're more likely to find something to please everyone at CR . . . if you're willing to send people to 2-3 separate counters.

When we ate dinner there in October...it was extremely crowded. But we don't care it's Disney there will always be a crowd somewhere.

I like the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich at Cosmic Rays. Usually get that when we eat there. The Fried Shrimp Platter is ok at Columbia Harbor House as well. Nothing special but it's good for a quick QS lunch or dinner.

We make a point to eat in both of them on every trip because we can never decide. I prefer CHH, and DH and DS slightly prefer Cosmic Rays. DH loves that silly fixings bar, and DS wants to watch Sunny Eclipse.
