Cosmic Ray's menu the same during MSSHP?

We went to the MVMCP last November and since we didn't want to lose valuable party time (and DD loved the little dance party they had with the characters that night) we decided to eat our supper at Cosmic Ray's. I know that they typically have chicken and ribs and so on, but that night all they were offering were just sandwich type items I believe. We all pretty much just got burgers and fries so we could eat a quick meal. Fast forward to this year, we are going to the Mickey's Halloween Party and I was thinking we might try to eat counter service that night so we don't miss much party time, but DH really wants more than just a sandwich for the meal. I wondered does Cosmic Ray's typically only have a sandwich menu during the partys or was it just for the christmas party since they had cocoa and cookies being passed out as well. I would love to go there again, but was hoping for more than just a burger. Also does anyone know if they have a dancing party with the characters there for the halloween party as well?

NO! I'm not sure about area #1 & #2 (you know how they have separated into 3 counters, right?) but #3 was completely CLOSED during MNSSHP. I was pretty disappointed b/c there was NOTHING but a veggie burger with no bun for me to eat. #3 has a veggie wrap I could have had, but they had it closed.

Not sure if this is normal as I've only been once, maybe someone who has been more than once can enlighten us!

I have never seen the rib/chicken area open during a party, either MNSSHP or MVMCP. There was a more limited menu with less choice than normal at the other windows it seemed to me also.

Just out of curiosity, what time do they close the different counters? I was thinking of eating around 5 or so before the party even started. Would it already be closed or do they close it only after the party actually starts at 7??

We got there around 6 for dinner before a Pirates and Princesses party and all the bays were still open. I think that they started closing everything but the hamburger bay right before the party started.

We were still eating our chicken dinners when the dance party started with Lilo and Stitch. My DD and I went down to dance with Stitch and had a blast.

Thanks for the info. maybe if we plan on an early dinner like 5 or 5:30 we would be able to eat more than just a burger. I think I would want to do that anyway so we could get the most out of the party.

We ate dinner at Cosmic Ray's during the MNSSHP last year, and I seem to remember getting the ribs, while my wife got the chicken. She had been hoping for a salad, but that's at bay#3 which was closed.

As a bonus, you get to watch Stitch's dance party while you dine.
