My DH & I went to Cosmic Ray's on Friday night and were planning to get that wonderful Chicken & Rib combo meal. My DH doesn't eat much and it was great food! When did this go away? It was so yummy! I guess we won't be at Cosmic Ray's much anymore...:sad2: I'll miss Sonny.

Darn it!!! DH likes to eat this himself. You know, a person works up an appetite running around MK all day!!!!

Did you check all the counters at Cosmic Rays? When we were there at Easter I had the ribs and chicken one day and later in the week decided to go back for more. When I walked up to the counter I noticed it was not on the menu board and the CM told me to walk down further that the station around the bend had the chicken and ribs.

I think the ribs/chicken are around the side closer to the speedway entrance! I'm hoping that it's still there - we were hoping to stretch a few CS meals this way as well!:goodvibes

I always forget that Cosmic Rays has several counters with different choices. Last time I had a burger (which is great, but...)and I missed out on the chicken/ribs combo until it was too late. I am so getting that next time.

The fact that there are several counters is why I will never eat at Cosmic Ray's again. Unless all 4 of us agree on the same counter, it is way too much work. Also, it's way too noisyand confusing. Give me Columbia Harbor House any day.

We were at MK on 8/29 and both I and DH had the chicken & ribs combo meal. When did you go?

It was still there as of this past Sunday. I didn't order it as I was intending to eat sorta light so I could eat at Planet Hollywood later that night. I got the burger instead. It was sooo much better once I added lettuce, tomato and pickles to it instead of just the plain ol' burger with mustard, mayo and ketchup I had last year....

Seriously, we ate there on on Friday night 9/7/07 and DH went to all of the counters and didn't see it. He was about to ask, when the people near us asked. The CM said, "We don't have that anymore." SO, then there were lots of upset people. lol. DH said he heard a husband saying to his wife (with a very disturbed tone) "You SAID they had Chicken and Ribs!"
I ended up with a not very good chicken sandwich (not bad, just not chicken & ribs!) and DH got a burger. :hippie: Maybe it was just a temporary thing, but he definately said "We don't have that anymore." So I assumed he didn't mean, "We don't have that tonight."

they just took it off the menu during free dining. I have read here thet many menus are "adjusted" during free dining. I hope it is back on the menu for our trip in Oct. We are paying for our meals and I had hoped to get the chicken and ribs, since it was very tasty and a great value! :cutie:

Wow that's weird. Like I said before, we ate that meal on 8/29 on our free dining plan. Maybe they changed it after? There were 2 counters to order. Burgers were to the right and the chicken & ribs were to the left.

Is the issue you can't combine the two on one platter, you have to choose either or? I can't imagine they totally took off their chicken and their ribs, they've been serving that stuff there for, gosh, must be a decade now!

I saw Neither! I was certainly wanting that chicken! & DH wanted the ribs! :)

I think you got the same CM that told my DH that they didn't sell AA batteries in the parks. :)
