How much time should be allowed for cosmetology services before the ceremony? I've booked Beaute Speciale and I'm working on their documents, and they want to know when to be at our room. The DFTW information package says to book four to five hours before the ceremony, but that seems like a lot of extra time to me, and it also seems that the amount of time needed would vary greatly based on the number of people and services being provided.

At this point, I need hair/makeup for me and hair for my daughter, though my mom might want hair/makeup, too. My daughter and I both have long hair and my mom's is short. We are also going to be at AKL for a wedding at SBP, so there is a fair amount of travel needed to get to the ceremony. Does anyone have any advice about timing these services?

I had the same questions when I booked Beaute Speciale-- so I just told them what time our ceremony was and what time our pictures started. Then they told me what time services should start for our number of people.

Oh, perfect! I feel much better knowing that I can do that. I'm going to need to update them when my mom gets back to the US next month and I can talk to her about whether she wants hair/makeup, so it's good to know I can give them the preliminary information and they will give me a time estimate. Thank you!

I'm having similar issues filling in the forms. There is only me to "do". We are staying at Yacht Club and getting married at Yacht Club. I like to leave when I am ready and hate hanging around. :confused3

Exactly! I don't want to wait around, nor do I want to plan so poorly that I have others waiting on me. I think I'm just going to ballpark the figures and let them know via e-mail that I would like their recommendation.
