Cosmetic Surgery - would you?

OMG! Where is a tissue?? I literally just snotted on myself laughing! I couldn't even imagine going to a doctor about that! ROFL

Anyway, yes I would go for some surgery. I had gastric bypass and lost 165 pounds. I didn't exercise like I should have so I have really saggy skin now. I joined curves to try and firm up some, but it will take LOTS of work if it improves any at all. I am actually more embarassed about my naked body now than I was at 330 lbs. I have been talking non stop lately about getting a full body lift and some beautiful breasts. A young girl at work just got hers and now I'm more determined than ever. I think I'm happy with the color of my uhm, butt- hole though. :thumbsup2

First of all, congrats on all your weight loss! Yes, I can totally understand your reasons for what you are doing and good luck.

Again, I don't have a problem with gals/guys that choose plastic surgery. It is a personal choice, and some very good reasons for it in certain cases. BTW, if there were a topical cream that lifted all this stuff that gravity takes a hold of, I'd be right on it. :thumbsup2 That said, I'm a big C-H-I-C-K-E-N when it comes to scalpals so the alternative was to learn to live with what I got and love it because I would likely have a heart attack on Dr. 90210's operating table from my own fear of white coats. :rotfl2:

Momof2,
I know, I've thought the same thing myself...and I really do have other things going on...but I am so thrilled w/ the results !!!

To those of you thinking of a tt...I have a high pain threshold and lots of motivation...I'm an idiot, didn't plan for more than a Friday and the weekend off...STUPID...I drove myself to the surgeon's office the day after a facelift to get the bandages off...I didn't plan it that way, my sister was going to take me but we were fighting...anyway, skipped the pain meds, drove to the office swaddled in bandages...no problem. Can't do that w/ a tt...for one thing the drains are gross. Give yourself a week at least.

:faint: :faint: but :worship: :worship: for getting through that.

I'd have my teeth bleached, and if I lose the weight I want to, I'd get my tummy tightened and my breasts made more perky. iId also do lasik, but i don't think I'm eligble for it (my main problem is an astigmatism).

I had a breat reduction in my mid 20's, and I was very pleased with the results, I still have feeling and you cannot see the scars anymore. If I hit my weight goal, DH has already said I could have a tummy tuck. For the face, I won't say "never" but I always worry that if something went wrong, you could not hide it.

My niece wants to have a breast reduction done. She's had a nose job. She works in Hollywood and in her line of work, appearance is everything.
