Corvette's 50th Birthday!

Anyone going on or know someone who's going on the big Road Trip Caravan that starts tomorrow with all the Corvettes and their owners?

A woman and work with (she's no "spring chicken") and her DH are going. Their local Corvette Club here in the Tampa Bay area is heading out tomorrow and from what she told me, there's Corvette groups from every state going out and converging on Bowling Green, KY for this big celebration. They have all kinds of activities planned, etc and lots of media coverage.

The only problem is the limited space they have with driving the Corvette for all of the stuff they have to bring! I told her everyone else must be in the same "boat".

Anyone going? No someone who's going?

I wish I had a corvette... When I worked on rebuilding antique cars, I worked on a nice '67 stingray in red w/ the black stinger... *drool*

I'm not going. I think Corvette's are spiffy but too little.
