After suffering for a few years and not having a clue what the problem was, I finally went to a podiatrist who diagnosed plantar fasciitis. At my first visit, he wrapped my foot to see if I would get any relief with the extra support. I had tried every shoe insert I could find and was very surprised to see how good a little moleskin and tape made my foot feel. At my second visit he suggested orthotics and measured/fitted me for them.
I have been pain free since wearing the orthotics. I wear them in both shoes even though only one foot is affected..for balance, I guess.

I am also praying that this helps me and gets me through Disney and then when I get home restart the PT and well be on my way to having healthier feet. I walked in a parade on SAturday and thought my feet were on fire, so then I decided the shots are a must for Disney...Don't get me wrong I walked and I did again on Sunday but if there is a chance that my feet won't hurt as bad then I am gonna try it. Send all yuor positive thoughts my way. The things I do for that mouse.

Of course, now I'm panicking because of my upcoming trip. I've bought 3-4 different pairs of sneakers/walking shoes and nothing is helping. Hopefully I can get my orthodics and possibly a prescription before my trip. If not, I'll deal with the pain 'cause nothing is going to stop me.
Anyway, with just 4 weeks before vacation, I'll give it a try. Anyone have any stories to share re PT?

Although I did break down on one day and rent a
