correct way to change SW?

A ding just came through for our flight. How do I change our reservation? Do I book the ding flight than cancel the other? Thanks.

From what I have gathered (and the experts can correct me) - open up two windows. start the new reservation, wait once you get to payment. on the second cancel the original. then put the credit towards the new one. Just do it fast! I lost my ding by the time I figured it out!

I've done it several times & the way I do it is I go through the Ding ressie process, until I get to the payment screen. Then, I cancel my original flight ressie.....The ticketless travel funds are immediately available.....

Then I quickly go back to ding & pay with the ticketless travel funds from the ressie I just cancelled.

It's really simple, you just have to be quick to be sure that you get your flight times

OMG....I did it. Exactly like you suggested, but man I'm still shaking. I feel like I won the lottery. I thought 773 was great for 5 but 523 is soooooo much better.

I was clear enough headed to take the refundable part of my tickets back on my credit card. I'll use the ticketless credit for our trip in nov.
