This is why I don't use a TA. I feel like I'm the best advocate for myself. I've cruised a few times without my DH and just my youngest son. I've found traveling with just one other person compared to three others to be pretty stress free and relaxing. It can be lonely at times, but like anything there's positives and negatives.

Yes I have to agree, would it be different if I called myself? Maybe. Not likely though. I am just not super impressed that she didn't even call DCL, but on the other hand she is a DCL expert... and knows they don't budge on this.

I think you are right, it may actually end up being good, not having to put up with DH and do what I want when I want. It will be a different experience for sure.
I'm glad we will have our friends there too.

I told DH after our Oct trip that he is no longer invited when I take the kids to wdw. He doesn’t like crowds and gets grumpy. I can’t deal with him. I am quite looking forward to not having him there next time.
He is still invited on cruises though, as they don’t make him as grumpy.

I've actually started taking the kids on separate trips. I don't have to listen to them fight. I enjoy our vacations with four of us, but it's amazing when you travel with just one kid. No fighting no drama less laundry...and on and on. The negative is no adult conversation. Like I said there's negatives and positives.
