We ate at San Angel about 1.5 yrs ago and it was fine. We are planning our first reservation at Coral Reef next May. I canceled our last reservation due to many negative reviews but we're going to give it a whirl next trip.
I will take the advice of eating there for lunch rather than dinner. Although, we would much prefer dinner. Is there absolutely no good time to go for dinner? Is there a specific table to ask for a party of 5? We would like to be next to the aquarium as that is the reason for us going to there.
