Corpse Bride, what do you think?

I was wondering if this movie is appropriate for a 5 year old? My DD loved Nightmare Before Christmas and watches the tape over and over again but I didn't know if this one would be too dark for her? I guess it's just the title that's putting me off from bringing her to see it...

If she's seen NBC, I don't think Corpse Bride would be a problem. I thought that the film was essentially a poorer replica of NBC, but that being said, there wasn't anything remotely objectionable about the film. However, the film isn't nearly as colorful or "fun" as NBC so she might be bored, to be honest.

Thanks for the heads up. We might save it for rainy day. We're supposed to have yet another one this weekend
