Coronado Springs Restaurants on Dining plan?

No CSR restaurants participating? If they do that, no one who wants to use the plan will stay at CSR.

I have to disagree with you on this. Although we like the Pepper Market, we only eat there one or two times per visit. If they are not included on the dining plan, it will NOT prevent us from staying there. CSR is our home away from home and we can always eat somewhere else--one of the parks or one of the other resort counter services (although there are very few of those we would go to).

So, we are going to check in on Dec. 26th and check out on Jan. 6th on the premium dining plan, so now my question is will this still count as the 2008 plan all the way through? I know in the past it would have, but since they started this you pay different nightly rates for whatever season each night your stay is in, I am wondering if that affected the dining plan as well?

Would love to know that as well since we are checking in December 31st.

according to the official 2009 Disney dining brochures, the 2009 plan is "Valid for Arrivals 1/11/09 - 12/31/09"

So your 2008 dining plan rules will still be in affect...course I think they would be anyway, since what you purchased was the "2008 dining plan"...that's all that's available until 1/11/2009.:thumbsup2

 Wait a minute--I'm arriving 1/4 (and staying through 1/14.) Does that mean I'm on the 2008 plan and I've been worrying about this for nothing??

Edit--no, I guess it was a typo. My 2009 brochure says valid for arrivals 1/1/09-12/31/09.

you know, I went back and clicked on the link to the 2009 DDP brochure I was looking at...this was not a typo...I was looking at the new Quick Service DDP brochure, and it clearly says 1/11/2009... I guess the other brochures have a different date?:confused3

Does anyone know the answer for sure? Because if this is an issue, then we need to rework some of our ADRs.

I believe the quick service plan begins 1/11/09. The others are effective 1/1/09. If you check in before 1/1/09, you are on the 2008 plan.

What I need to know is if we check in this year, but are staying through the New Year, which plan are we on after the New Year?

You are on the plan that is in effect on your checkin date.

It's not really relevant this year because for the basic and deluxe plans, only the price is different in 2009, and you will have paid for the plan at the 2008 price already.

I purchased the 2009 DDP for my upcoming trip January 14th. The 45 days out is November 27th. Can I drop the DDP after that date if I find that several of my ADR restaurants are not participating? Booking Tuttio Italia the CM said I don't see a place here to make the DDP notation, just tell them when you arrive..and then she said..oh, here it is. So I'm assuming that Disney is accepting ADR's as being on the DDP and if they're not I should be able to cancel w/o penalty.

If you remove DDP after the 45 days, you'll probably pay the change fee. A possibility is to remove it before the 45 day mark and then add it again. I do not believe they charge the change fee if you increase the amount you pay for your package, only if you decrease it. Someone who is more of a package booking expert might be able to confirm that.

I can't believe that you need to worry about restaurants being eliminated though. If they are there is no reason why you couldn't switch your ADR to a participating restaurant. January isn't peak season.

The reason that I ask is that there are a lot of restaurants that we have ADRs at that are not on the 2009 plan yet, but it looks like we will be on the 2008 plan, so no problems there.
