Hi Kathy! Yeah, we got back late Sunday night. We were surprised at the crowds, but had a fantastic time. The weather was beautifl (not too hot and no rain). CBR was alright. We had a really good mousekeeper. The room was spotless (no dust anywhere) and we got four towel animals during the trip. We round up in Aruba 51 on the back side in a first floor room facing a courtyard and right around the corner from the lake. The Jamaica bus stop was closer than the Aruba one (but still a looong way from our room).

Ours was almost always the first bus stop though, so that was nice. The buses came frequently. In fact, other than the resort feeling very large, we didn't find any of the negative things that others have posted about it. For some reason it just didn't feel like home though. I may go back, but if I do, it will be several years down the road. It just didn't feel like a place I need to rush back to. Mark and I both prefer CSR, although we also checked out POFQ again while we were there and asked guest services about their planned refurb. We were told that they'd be starting this week and that POFQ would be finished first and should be finished by April, so we're probably going to stay there in May just to try out the new refurbished rooms. I'll be back at CSR in Dec though (just 6 more weeks

), and can't wait. We had to make a trip over there just to eat one day last week and seeing it, made me realize how much I missed it. They still don't know where the preferred rooms are going to be located. We went to guest services to ask and the CM was nice enough to call and check for us. He said everything was still just speculation, but the CM he spoke to said that right now they are thinking Casitas 1, 2, and 3, and maybe all of the Cabanas, although Cabanas 8B may be left standard. I told him I was planning a trip down there for May and would like to know, before I booked. He said for now to probably plan on only Casitas 4 and 5 and the Ranchos as being standard and everything else preferred. That'd mean that only six buildings would be standard and seven buildings preferred.

Somehow when I think of that room I had for one night last fall on the top floor, in building 2, that had no elevator getting to it, and an ugly parking lot view, being classified as a preferred King room, I must cringe. lol
