we are ready to start packing, lol

I have started my "prepacking" lol. Anything I pick up at the store for the trip gets puts in the suitcase for now. That way I won't have to worry about misplacing before I do my official packing.

Doing the same thing. I am so known for buying something and putting it away and then not able to find it when I need it.

FYI I read on a thread someone buys at the Dollar store when of those foldable organizing bins (those cloth ones) to throw things in on the dresser so that when you go to leave it's right there instead of trying to find it in the room. I used one this weekend for our little get away. It's a great idea cause between my watch, keys, change and what not, things would have been everywhere. Hubby liked the idea. I have two ready for our vacation. I'm thinking of packing a plastic cup too so that our toothpaste and tooth brushes have a home also.
And another idea was one of those hanging shoe things with clear pockets. All go in the big check in suit case to be ready for November.

FYI there is a thread of "what to pack" that people list things that others might forget to pack and/or would come in handy. I got some great ideas from there.

You're welcome. With my son's restricted diet, the microwave came in handy.

Checked out and heading home. DS9 said that's the part of vacation he doesn't like. I agree.

Fairly new to the Dis, but have been reading through a lot of threads over the last 2 months or so. 44 days until my next trip, and I'm so excited I can't see straight! Yes, I have 6 kids (DD15, DD10, DD6, DS5 (twins) and DD2), but even though Its been nearly 7 years since my last trip (4 of my kids have never been), I will be traveling with my childhood BFF (we have known each other since we were 5) celebrating my 40th birthday. I have stayed at CRS twice before and LOVED it both times. It's my BFF's favorite mod as well. Looking forward to EVERYTHING including free dining (first for me), enjoying the F&WF (not pregnant like I was last time), possibly using MB, and just relaxing for nearly 6 whole days. We can enjoy shopping around leisurely without worrying who is touching what, and can go where we want without a headcount... Hoping for Cabanas, which is what I requested, but will be happy anywhere- I'LL BE AT DISNEY. Thank you all for your posts and info!

Anybody doing split stays with CSR as one of your resorts, take note. If you have Magic Bands/FP+ linked to a different resort, you will most-likely be able to use your MB at CSR!!

I checked in to CSR for 3-nights on Saturday, and the band has worked everywhere. You might need concierge help with FP+. Other than that, you should be good to go.

Really? That would be so awesome for FP+!!! We are staying at POR (room only) at the end of our trip and have the MB/FP+ for those 2 nights/3 days, but staying at CSR with FD for the first 6 nights. We will have to check this out!

Trying to understand. Are you going with the 6 kids and BFF or just you and BFF? Sounds like just BFF since you won't need to do a headcount and can shop. LOL And if that is the case, I totally get why you are excited!

Can someone tell me about corner rooms (with two windows?) at CSR? Are there any? I'd like to book a King bed room; are any of these corners? Is there a site with floor plans of the buildings at CSR?

CSR has them. My wife and I had one the first year we stayed. Wasn't a king though. Can't help with a floor plan.

Also, does anyone know what the average price upgrade for a Preferred Room is over a Standard Room is, per night? Just a guesstimate is needed.

I am trying to help a co-worker plan a trip for next year, and any dates we try online says that nothing is available in the preferred room category. Just Business class.

Does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi from CSR to the nearest grocery store, Target, or Walmart? I'm not sure if I want to order from Garden Grocer or try to go to a store myself.

I think i have a plan. Totally re-thinking and re-thinking before we book. DH and I, next september, 10 nights, CSR business class with park hopper & water park and more option..

Anyone know if magic bands are available at CSR yet??? I have tried to use FP+ but it says my ressies are not within the window even though we are only 55 days til our trip.
