The "preferred" location only puts you close to the Food court. Depending which room you get it could be as close as 5 mins or as far as 10 mins. Business Class gets you a room that is 2 mins from the Dig Site and 2 mins from the Food Court.

Preferred are buildings 1,2, and 3. Counting backwards 3 is closest to dig site and one is furthest away. No matter how you look at it, 1,2,3 are the furthest away from the dig site. We are staying preferred next time for a convention. The quiet pool in the Casitas is rough too. It's very deep, great for lap swimming, not so great for little kids.

Yeah, I know it's fall break. It was just surprising to no availability for standard rooms the day rates are released. Even still today no availability for anything but the more expensive options. I'll eventually call to check, but for now, I'll be patient. Plenty of time between now and October 2014.

I just booked 2 standard rooms yesterday and had no problems....maybe the website was messed up I would try again. Oct 10-20 2014

The business class is over in the cabanas closest to El Centro. They are not very far from the Dig Site.

Business Class is a booking category. Rooms are in Cabanas 9B, just over the bridge from El Centro.

Not if I have any say in it ......already orderd t-shirts so No More changes. Business looks great but think we will stick with standard and save the money for other things.....like adr's

We are upgrade from value to mod or mod to deluxe and skip ADR's people! I see so many people loving the restaurants though. We just don't like to sit for 2 hours to eat. However I do have an ADR for dd18 and I for BOG and Garden tea room this January. I have learned to leave the guys out! (did these in Nov and we had fun girls time)

As much as I love CL's for myself, really for the money dd and I would rather shop

Disney has something for everyone!

So the strangest thing happened and I thought I made a post in this thread last night but now I can't find it anywhere Hopefully I didn't post it in another thread somewhere!

Anyway, we have decided for our upcoming President's Day trip to stay at CSR! We will be there for 8 or 9 nights. We stayed at POR for our last stay and LOVED it...so I might have a lot of questions about CSR. Sorry in advance!

So....we want to stay in a standard room but are hoping to put in a room request? How is CSR about room requests? We got everything we asked for at POR, but I realize that was pure luck.

I don't know where we should request to stay. I know CSR is very large and while we don't mind some walking we would probably hate to have to walk across the resort more than a few times a day. I know the kids will love the Dig Site pool, but I also know that's pretty far from the food court correct? With the knowledge that we will probably use the pool with hopes that weather cooperates and that we plan to eat at the resort a few times...where would you suggest we request?

I also thought I read on the CSR website that you can use the buses as internal transportation? So if we wanted to head to El Centro we could hop on any of the theme park buses and to get back we could hop on the DTD bus? Is this a good strategy?

Any other tips? I plan to read through this thread and I'm so excited! CSR looks absolutely beautiful!

What room type did you reserve? Standard, Preferred, or Business Class?

What is most important to you and your children? Being near the lobby/restaurant? Near the main pool, which is called The Dig Site? Near a bus stop?

Where are you traveling from? When in 2014 will you be at CSR and for how long?

Ok I did switch to business class at the CSR instead of standard and asked for building 9b. So I guess I did change but not resorts...lol My daughter liked the idea of business, so she suggested the switch also. I am going to stop looking at other resorts so I won't be tempted.

So we stay there from 08.13.14 to 08.24.14 in a standard room
I'm coming from France

I think that the most important for my children is the pool
My son have "little legs " and I don't want he ´s so tired too !!

I conceed it´ll be our first visit , we just know Disneyland Paris and we know that Will be very different for us

We have one year to wait but so excited and exciting to plane

You won't be sorry. IMO the Busniness Class location at CSR really makes it a Deluxe at the Mod price. All Busniss Class reservations are for Cabanas 9B so you don't have to request the building. We will be staying there in December. Have fun!!

I'm not sure if there are any connecting rooms in that section. As far as I know there isn't a room map like you are looking for. I can check when I'm there in December.

Great thanks I requested it but add at least close to each other in case they didn't have them. Have a good trip in Dec. wish we could go this year but we will be even more excited next year.....
