From the picture of a CSR room dresser - standard room - it looks like either 3 large drawers in the dresser, each with 2 handle pulls ----
OR
Does the CSR standard room dresser have 6 drawers, 2 side by side and 3 rows down ?

Thank you !

:goodvibesFor 4 people it would be noce to have the 6 drawers - so everyone can have their own. :goodvibes

Ok, me and my wife just got back from Disney about a month ago. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and loved it! We are planning are going back same time this year. December 8-15th 2013. I have looked at this thread for the past hour or so and seem to like it. Convince me why we should stay here instead of a different moderate. And give me some suggestions on which rooms and areas you would recommend.

Ive stayed at both POR and CSR. In fact i stayed at both this past year of 2012. POR in January, CSR in December.

I love both of them. I felt the buses were better at CSR. The food court was better at POR. The decor was great at both. The rooms are nicer at CSR. (I did not stay in a refurbed room at POR). The pool at CSR is much better. CSR does marshmallow roasts at night. CSR has beaches and hammocks!! POR had the river and boats to DTD.

To be honest, its a very tough comparison. Im not sure I can put my finger on the reasons why I like CSR more but I do. We stayed at CSR in 2010 and it was our first mod. We stayed at POR in Jan 2012 and it became my favorite. Last month we stayed at CSR and now its my fav again. The fact is, id stay at either in a heart beat. There was a tranquility at both. CSR seemed even quieter in tue food areas for sure. We stayed in the cabanas near bus stop 4.

My suggestion, you've stayed at POR, give CSR a chance.

What's AAA's offer? Is it better than Disney's????

To be honest, I'm not sure what's all involved because it ends in June and we were booking for July. It might be a straight gift card or it might be just a savings card. It couldn't hurt to call them up and ask what the offer is exactly.

I have yet to make a room request. Not sure it matters. We won't need to be close to a bus stop.. but I guess having a shorter distance to the main areas would be nice. Would the 9B be a good building for that? (assuming I can actually get a BC room.)

9B is the perfect building for that. Very close to the Main building and very close to the main pool as well as the quiet pool and laundry in 9A. The only real downside to 9B is you use busstop #1 which is last to pick up which means standing or full buses sometimes, but that doesn't apply to you. :)

Add me.. We are finally heading to CSR with a 25% discount in a waterview room. Very excited for this!

There are 6 drawers, but they are not very big. There were four of us there last month -- all adults -- and two of us used drawers and the other two lived out of their suitcases which was not a big problem for us.

Katmark.. We are finally making it and we are so excited about it!

I have two rooms reserved in BC for April. I booked online, and have a double queen room and a King room. I indicated that I would like connecting rooms. Does anyone know if the king rooms connect to the queen rooms in building 9b?

Hey guys! My dh made an awesome video of our 8 nights in Sep/Oct at our moderate "home" CSR! I know you will love it. We had such an amazing stay. We requested Casitas and got an amazing water view in building 4. We will be back to CSR for 7 nights in Feb for the Princess Half Marathon. Can't wait! We have paid for a king preferred room, and we will be requesting Casitas 3. Love that location. I just can't believe how much room is in a King room at CSR. It's really luxurious. We spent two nights at AKL Savannah View at the end of our stay, and the room was sooo small it seemed! Here is the video, enjoy! I know it will get you psyched for your upcoming stays. :wizard::goodvibes

Hey Princes A! I know you from the PHM thread. I will be at the CSR from 2/23-25. Love all the Youtubes you post. Maybe we can have all have a Princess meet-up. Safe travels

Cindy

We are officially booked with new Spring offer!

DH and i will be going April 21-26th.

The only choices i had was a King or King Business CLass for $211 more so i went with the Business Class. For $42 extra a day my hubby can drink his weight in Diet Coke (not to mention the beer).

I will see if Bounceback makes it worth to upgrade to an Epcot resort when i am there in February. If not VERY content with CSR.

Very excited about theis first trip alone since our honeymoon 1989:banana:
