I've booked CSR with free dining for August 2014! Sooo far away, but I've read through this whole thread and I'm so excited to stay there :D.Thanks for all the great tips.

Actually, elevators are at the ends of the cabana buildings closest to the bus stop #4.

I'm in the UK, and if you book before July 2013 for a trip next year, you get free dining and a $200 gift card :)

Good for you, enjoy. :thumbsup2

I remember a few years ago Disney did a promotion with a $200 gift card. If you booked 4 nights you also got 3 free nights and a $200 gift card. I doubt we will see something like that again anytime soon.

Got stuck in a downpour at the pool bar yesterday afternoon. Perfect opportunity to try the fish tacos. Save your money. Not worth it.

I'm pretty sure that I know the answer, but with the new addition of business class I'm finding conflicting information and just wanted to clarify.

To stay business class, you do NOT need to be a convention guest. Anyone can now stay business class, whether you are a vacationer with your kids or convention guest, correct?

9B is now totally business class. If you want to stay 9B you need to book business class. Or are there rooms still in 9B that aren't business class rooms?

Thanks!

Wow that sounds like a great deal! Yes they do seem to be cutting back on deals on the US site.

Correct, you do NOT have to be a convention guest to stay business class. We just recently stayed business class with another family. Four adults and five kids, had a blast in the lounge.

I don't know if 9B is totally business class, but you do have to stay in 9B to receive Business Class benefits.

Good question. I was wondering about this too. If it is not totally business class,
I would probably request a room in 9B simply because of location.

convention guests generally use hospitality suites in the casitas but on occasion can purchase lounge access.

Subbing! DLR vet and first time WDWer... Early planning stages for an early May 2014 trip!

How wonderful, you will have a blast! The last time I was at DLR, I was a teenager..decades ago! It is on my bucket list to return someday....I can only imagine the changes.

I'm SO excited, we're FINALLY going back to CSR in November (me, my DH and my parents). It'll be my parents first time staying here and I'm super excited to show them the resort!

I'm wondering, I know casitas 1, 2 and 3 are designated as "preferred" location rooms. If I don't pay extra for a preferred room, can I still request a room in casitas 1, 2 or 3 or are they all only preferred rooms? Just wondering if I should request one of those or our "normal" building, casitas 4?? I'd like to be closer to El Centro to save my parents some walking but it we can't, then I'll just stick with the request for building 4. :cool1:

Also, I know it's been a few years since the rooms were refurbished, just out of curiosity, are they still in good condition, the mattresses, carpets, etc.? Just wondering... :)
