I had no problem bringing wine in a can to the pool area on my trip.... I just had a lot of people ask me what it was out of curiosity...

Although the daiquiris there can not be beat

All rooms have 2 queen-size beds, hardwood furniture, desk and chair, vanity area with sink, a ceiling fan and a bathroom. All rooms are non-smoking. Amenities include flat-panel TV, in-room wall safe, voice mail, complimentary wi-fi, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mini-fridge and coffee maker. A crib is available upon request. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. These rooms offer views of the pool or lake.

I copy and pasted the above water view description for CSR from Disney's reservation system. It does not include fountains in the description of water view, only pool or lake. Just wondering if anyone was told different upon check in. We arrive this Friday and have a waterview room booked. Just curious. Thanks!:yay:
I believe that the lion fountain between casita 2 and 3 and others are considered waterview.

Staying here in 38 days! Quick question - planning on having Costco deliver water. Anyone know what CSR will charge me for this? If it's exorbitant, I will have it shipped to AKL where we are spending the first 3 days of our trip. Just wanted to avoid having bell services transfer it between resorts.

TIA!
There are written amounts that the business center will charge you for deliveries but there are times when they do not bother to assess those charges.

That has been my experience. Not that I'm complaining. ;). In any case, I think once I was charged $10, but the box was really heavy. This is one of those cases where I'm not unhappy about the charge if it is a convenience for me. For me, I'll gladly pay $10 if it a question of keeping me sane.

That was why I was originally chuckling but I wouldn't rule out anything when it comes to Disney. The Poly has 1-2 rooms that under extreme circumstances can be used as "lagoon view" but rarely does so according to Tikimon.

Ok, trying to figure out the wording. 1st choice is 8a, I like where 8b but the back has a ton of parking lot views. I'm not too picky but those are really close to the parking lot. I also like 9B, but I don't think those are often available. So then I'm kind of torn b/w 9a and 7b. 9a looks like it could be a bit of a walk to the pool w/ that little pond/lake right there to go around. Should I say 8a or 9b 1st choice. Then something else 2nd choice? Trying to give options w/out being complicated.

The pool bar closes at 6pm?!?! Maybe I should look at CBR again. I think the pool bar there was open till 10pm!

I would be more inclined to request a section or location rather than a bunch of specific buildings - something like cabanas, with a preference for 8A (this is what one CSR regular always requests) or close to Dig Site, prefer not to have a parking lot view.

It took me from Pool area to the bar by the lake (and back)10 minutes total.. Including waiting for my daquiri to be made and walking slowly...

My only complaint was the early closing of pool bar... Especially when kiddies are watching the movie by pool...

speaking of which.............. I WANT A MANGO DAQUIRI!!!

Why in the world would they have a bar open by the lake later than by the pool? This is disappointing news! I guess I need to look at the map and find out where this bar is that is open later!

The bar by the lake is outside the main building.food court area. They also have a night club style lounge that is rated the best at WDW that is open until late every night. They have alcohol for sale at Panchitos you can take to the hot tub.

Well after planning for over a year to stay at CSR I have switched my trip to POR (after finally figuring out what requests I wanted to do at CSR :) ). My travel companion changed from my best friend to my mom and mom wanted to stay there instead. I will still keep up with this thread as Sept 2013 my friend and I will be planning to stay there.

Happy planning everyone!

We have a 'waterview' room reserved as well. I don't really want a 'FOUNTAIN view" will this help on check in if they have given us a fountain view we can say the description says Lake or Pool?

I'm just really not sure where to 'request' a room. We want mostly to be close to the pool, don't care about bus stop since we are driving. i thought it was a good move to reserve a water view but now i'm not sure..

Does anyone know if Coronado Springs could possible be including more rooms in the free dining promotion? Is there even a chance that someone could change their reservation and a room with free dining could open up? Should I just check every day?

Thanks!

Can we find ice cream anywhere at CSR? If so where would I find it. This is important stuff to a 4 and 7 year old. LOL

Thanks
