yes, breakfast and lunchAre they still doing the buffet for breakfast and dinner?
Thanks for the tips!I love the sound of walking through the Casistas. I watched AllEars.net's video tour of CSR and the Casistas area looks extremely pretty and romantic. I really hope we stay in Casistas 4 or 5. I see you're a fellow Chicagoan! Hello neighbor!

I agree with Smidgy. My DH and I have stayed at the Coronado nine times (we really missed it in September), and our favorite buildings are Casitas 4 and 5 -- we've been in them five of our nine stays. We spent our 25th anniversary there, and we just love the courtyards and sitting and relaxing.
I'm so glad to hear that! I don't want to end up in the Ranchos, but DBF would like to be there because it's close to the pool. He doesn't want to walk more than 5 minutes to the hot tub. Here's hoping a I get Casitsas 4 or 5 for our 2013 trip! And it's nice to see more Chicagoans! I'm in Arlington Heights. Not too far from Carol Stream.

Tell DBF that it is only a six or seven minute walk from Casitas 5 to the main pool/hot tub (I'm 54 now and I've been walking it for years...and I usually do it in five minutes).
Yes, I know where Arlington Heights is. My kids used to go there for sports, and my DH sometimes goes there to umpire baseball in the summer.![]()
It seems to me that the buffet set up benefits those on the dining plan; people who prefer to pay OOP, not so much.
Maybe this is Disney's way of getting everyone on the plan? I sure hope not.
Quick question. (Sorry if this was answered already; I skimmed through but might have missed it.)
Does anyone know what the vegetarian and/or vegan options are at the new PM buffet for lunch? I'm guessing a meatless taco(?), veggie wrap, and some salads(black bean and corn, grilled veggies, fresh fruit, salad bar). Any other thoughts? Thanks.
yes, breakfast and lunch
We did breakfast, lunch and dinner there this past week. All were good. Lunch buffet was much better than breakfast however. The waiter told us that they are working on making dinner buffet style too. When were were there, there was someone at most stations keeping the food made fresh and serving it to you. We were very pleased with the restaurant and the entire resort!
Could you please tell me what the breakfast choices were? Did they offer Mickey waffles, cut fruit, pastries, eggs to order and bacon?
Trying to compare it to the Maya Grill buffet in my mind!
Thanks!

I'm laying in bed at CSR right now. I love the free Wi-Fi.
Planning another trip for this spring and I have two questions about CSR (loving the look of the resort!):
#1.. free wifi? seriously?
#2 - pepper market is now a buffet for breakfast and lunch? any option for a quick lunch anywhere? I can't see paying $17 for a buffet for lunch but we're usually in the parks during lunch time anyway so might not be a deal breaker for us.
