For those of you who are interested, the Touringplans Blog just did a review of the new setup at the Pepper Market: http://blog.touringplans.com/. :goodvibes

Thanks! I am really hoping this continues, but I'm wondering financially if it is a big of a high cost for the dining plan and if at some point they will change over to a TS location. I think I read here that the same thing happened for Boma?

Oh, and I need to ask this--we originally booked a Standard view room, but moved to Pop Century, then the Beach Club, now back to CSR. When we finally moved back to CSR, I booked a water view room.

If distance to the bus stop is not an issue for us, then what would be a good request to make? I really would like a quieter area, so I am thinking having a room near a pool is not a great idea.

In August we had a water view room in the Casistas building 5. Outside of the room we could hear the music from the pool and the night time movies as the sound traveled well across the lake. From inside our room, we didn't hear any of that.

When we had a standard in 8A (cabanas right by the pool), which would now be garden view since it wasn't parking lot view (our view was of 7b), we didn't hear anything from the pool. Although in March the pool activities hadn't started.

In November we were in 7A and it was the quietest place we have ever been located.

Foot traffic was another story. We never heard suitcases pulled by the room when we stayed in 8A standard or 7A standard. But we heard people pulling suitcases past our room periodically at all hours of the day and night. We just turned up our noise machine and didn't hear it anymore.

Few questions:

Is the room service pizza count as a snack or counter service on the ddp?

Which fireworks can be seen from the Dig Site?

Will the marina be open this coming August?

Does CS offer bonfires, and movie nights in the summer?

thanks! :thumbsup2

Maddie--I can only answer for pizza--it's a TS credit and counts as 2 adult entitlements.

You're better off paying out of pocket for pizza at Disney.

We saw either Illuminations or Fantasmic walking from 7A to El Centro for a bite to eat. On the way back to 7A we watched part of Hallowishes from in front of El Centro facing towards the Dig Site.

Not likely, the marina hasn't been open for a very long time. No bicycles either.

Yes there has been both campfire and movie nights continuously since August! It was one of the highlights of our youngest son's trips.

We requested top floor because we heard the toilets flushing really loud can keep you up at night. Has anyone heard this too? Thanks!princess:

You can *hear* the toilet flush, but it wasn't a full on standing in the as room effect sound. In fact it, to me anyway, it was more the water running in the pipes than the flush. Nothing to keep you up at night. Pun intended.

Amanda,

Have you done this at CSR? We have had this question before, and the DDP brochure doesn't list CSR as a pizza delivery option under the DDP, even though it lists the other mods and the values. It would be good to know if it is an option at CSR, although I agree that it is not a good use of credits.

Thanks!

Laguna Bar and Pepper Market (dinner) have pizzas that can be purchased with the DDP.

What are some of the activities that CSR has to offer? I see that there is a nightly camp fire and movie by the pool. Is there anything else? Especially for younger kids, 2 and 4 year old boys.

The playground is pretty cool! There is a neat slide my 5 year old liked. There is a really big sand box they might enjoy and of course the pool!

I have been to the Coronado many times but still have a few questions and if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Has anyone sent a package in advance and if so, how did it work out? How far in advance did you send the package and did you have to pay for them to hold it?

I am thinking of sending a few supplies to save on baggage costs and hassle.

How do the new movies by the pool work? What time are they?

I have never been the week preceeding Easter before, are there any special decorations or activities at the resort?

Does anyone know the approximate cost of cab fare from CSR to the Polynesian?

I love CSR...stayed 7 times over the last ten years. I can't wait to be back.

Only one I can help you with. Cab ride to MK was around 12.00 so Poly should be very close to that.

Hello all! I've been reading this thread for a couple of days. We are planning a big family vacation (16 people in all) for November 2013. My family DH and 2DDs have been twice in the last 3 years but the rest of my family has NEVER been! Very excited!!! I'm really leaning towards CSR, based on everything I've read for the moderate level. if we are looking at 6 or 7 different reservations, do you think it would be possible to be in the same general area? If not, it's not the end of the world.

I've read a lot about the buses - does CSR have it's own bus for each park? Not as concerned about DD route.

Thank you - to all of you for running this awesome thread! The pictures, info and general comments are so beneficial!!!

So excited.....can't wait til 2013!:woohoo:

It is an option at CSR but not worth the 2 credits.

Thanks! :goodvibes

Besides a great playground by the pool, the CMs usually play games with the kids in the afternoon for small prizes. There is the pool opening ceremony at ten each morning.

You can link your reservations together and they will try to locate you near each other. You have enough people to be a grand gathering, and I think there is a separate number you can call.

CSR does have its own bus for each park.

We found the buses amazing. Better even than the Deluxe. they do not share buses with anyone. There are 4 stops around the resort and you can choose the one closest to you. We were closest to the main building and while it was the last stop, it was never crowded. I think that many of the resort guest are convention goers and maybe the buses get less use. Only once the entire week did we wait more than a very few minutes on a bus both to and from all the parks!

I haven't ever shipped a package, but as far as I know, there is a charge if you send a package FEDEX or UPS. There is not a charge if you ship USPS.

I think the movie times vary based on the season. Someone posted a schedule - I'll try to find it.

Not sure about the Easter activities!

I'm joining along. Maybe for a week, maybe for months :) Our family is deciding between CSR and CBR. I thought we were going to CBR but my brother asked to stay somewhere with a fitness center. Since we wanted to stay at a moderate, CSR is the only one. I'm waiting to hear back to see if everyone is good with CSR but it's leaning that way. For now, just thought I'd say hi and keep an eye out on the thread. Once we make a decision, I might be asking a LOT of questions!

The fitness center at CSR is great!

Let us know what you decide, and welcome. :goodvibes
