Question about online cruise check in

First, I don't want to make this a debate about the merits of getting on board early.

For our new years cruise, our online check in time is mid-November. Last time I did online check in (on a computer browser, not the ap) I had to fill in information for everyone in my party (including passport information) before I got to the screen to select a check in time. Is there a way to select the time, and fill in the information later?

If you check in on the app rather than on website you can select a time and fill in the other info later. But my experience and others have also found that the app does not open at midnight but 5 to 10 minutes later. You just keep refreshing

on the app, does the time selection screen show up first? Or does it merely allow you to skip through the other screens to get to the check in time?

If it helps I have never checked in on time and have always received an early boarding. For my last cruise I checked in 2 weeks before and we had a 10:30 checkin. Hopefully that will alleviate some stress. Good luck I hope you get the time you want!

Depends on a lot of factors. Kind of like saying "I got all the traffic lights green on the way home."

Read the above linked thread... the difference of checking in some hours later made a huge difference in available times.
