There is no character breakfast at the CBR. Do you mean Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (CR)?

Actually I believe there is a character breakfast at CBR. Someone's DR I have subbed in on did a review of a breakfast at CBR, that included characters in their beach wear. :)

Wow! Do I feel dumb! :sad2: I didn't even realize CBR and BCV were two different resorts. (Are they?) :confused3 It was definitely Cape May Cafe. Oops! Sorry for correcting you wrongly KatMark! Please forgive me. :)

Unless they just started this after August...there is No character meal at CBR. Also there is nothing on the boards about it.

Yes, Cape May is at the Beach Club. And I'll forgive you if you promise never to let it happen again. :rotfl2: Seriously, no worries.

If you read the post above I just quoted, I apologized! I didn't realize that CBR and BCV were two different resorts. Sorry! Jeesh...

You can get your mugs refilled at Siesta's at the pool when they are open. I think the hours when we were there was 10-6, but I'm not positive.

That is great! I may get bashed for asking a tipping question here but are you asked to tip since it is a bar? Do they have a place to leave a tip on the bar?

You actually get it filled at the CS area thats attached to the bar, but yes, they do have a tip jar out.

Thanks!!!, That is what i thought but when i did the online check in it popped up to request a fridge or pack and play ect... i figured this was standard lolololol bc i have plans on using that fridge to keep drinks for the parks and milk for the kids at bed time and breakfast cereal. Thanks to all of you who have helped me out on here.....i would have gone in blind lolol so THANK YOU :worship:

All moderates and above come with a fridge--free of charge. No need to request one. Have a great time!

Some people post how they love the Ranchos, but I notice most of them are from up north, so that section would be totally different from what they are used to. Just like alot of people from up north don't like the WL, but I love the theming because it is different from what I'm used to. Alot of people from Lousiana don't like the PO resorts for the same reason--too much like home. It's funny there are only two areas I'd never want to stay in at WDW. One is the Ranchos at CSR and the other is the Contemporary resort. I think both are ugly, but at the same time know others love them.:rotfl:

LOL I am going to throw a u-turn in your theory. We want to stay at WL so bad and I think next trip we just may do it. We love the woodiness of Maine and the theming of the WL is perfect. Of course we do not live in the wilderness or live in a log cabin (the neighbors across the road do) but we love to camp up north where not too many people live.

Yep. When looking at resorts none of us even considered staying there. We are also hoping that we don't get the Ranchos section.............I've spent too much time in West Texas.

I need to share this. We are staying at CSR for the first time in June. I am a 6th grade teacher, and one of my students just got back from CSR and WDW. She had a great time. I told her before she left that I was staying there for the first time. So, she wrote me a review of CSR!!

I won't post her review, but I will tell you that she loved it. She wrote about the Dig Site. She stayed in casitas which is where I requested. She told me about the comfy beds and the beautiful lake, She absolutely could have written her review here on the boards. She also brought me a key chain with mickey on it.

If it is even possible, I am even more excited to go this June than I was day ago. :cool1:

Just thought I would share!

How sweet of your student to give you a "heads up" review and to bring you a souvenir back. I can see why you are so excited. :woohoo:

Does CSR share a bus with the Boardwalk Inn for Downtown Disney?

As the previous poster said, NO, CSR does not share buses. However, like ALL of the resorts, the buses to and from Downtown Disney are awful--slow and far between.

I have only stayed at the ASMovies the only time I had a hard time with busses was at the end of a night found oftern there were more guests wanting to go home than there were busses to pick them up. One night after Wishes If memory is right we waited about 45mins Will it likely be the same lots of people waiting to load busses going back to CSR.

I thought that was the case but the OLP tranportation wizard says that the CSR bus stops at the Boardwalk Inn on the way to DTD.
