I have teenagers and an infant, and need opinions on these two resorts.

We prefer CSR. There seems to be more to do there, and the pool is nicer. We're also some of the minority that liked the Pepper Market. :smooth:

CBR is our favorite. If you do a search here on the DIS you will find this subject has been discussed many times. You will find all kinds of information.

Have teens and they LOVE CSR !!! It is where they ask to go back to....
Have stayed there with a toddler and it was great.....

Stayed CBR with an infant and it was way too much work and the kids, while not even teens yet, were very disappointed with the theme pool.

CSR is awesome-its our favorite. But you can't go wrong with either-CSR and CBR are both great!!

I think you'll find as many opinions as there are people who have stayed at either. Many of the the the issues that people have, IMHO, could have happened at any resort - rude CM, poor mousekeeping, problems with buses, etc, but it's bound to leave a bad taste in their mouths, regardless. My advice would be to pick the one whose theming most appeals to you and just go for it - I'm sure you'll have a great time at either. We've been to CBR but not CSR, and we loved CBR.

We love CSR. DH and I stopped for lunch one day at Pepper Market our last trip and it is so peaceful and quiet. It never seems busy IMHO. Maybe because so many rooms are taken up by conventioners and they stay in the meeting rooms.

We've stayed at both (most recently at CSR last week), and I have to say they're fairly comparable. I do prefer the layout of CSR better. The last time we stayed at CBR, our "preferred room" (I've yet to figure out why it was one.), was as far from the parking lot and our bus stop as it could possibly be. At that time, the food was not so hot either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed as if all rooms at CSR were relatively close to the parking lot and a bus stop. Also, there is a wide variety of counter service food available in the Peppermarket; and it's very good. I had a wonderful chicken quesadilla one night for dinner. For breakfast, it's fast and easy to pick up a yummy muffin from the convenience section.

There is a grab and go market at CBR also making it easy to grab something quickly to eat.

Preferred rooms costing extra at CBR started in 2004. The preferred locations are Trinidad North and Martinique.

We have stayed at both but I think your children would like the pool at CSR better!!! I also liked the Pepper Market better than CBR food court!

I have only stayed at CBR and am looking at staying at CSR. CBR was a very nice resort I liked it and the theming, bus service was okay. The room we had seemed to be a bit cave like but that might have just been the room we got. We didn't really mind much though because we wern't in the room that much anyway.

I am working my way through all the Moderates and we have enjoyed both CBR and CSR. Coronado's pool wins hands-down. The rooms are Carribean Beach are probably a little bigger, and they have the great curtain you can draw to make a privacy area around the sinks (this may be a plus with teens). Both have decent food and arcades. Carribean Beach has a basic food court and Coronado has the "semi-sit-down" thing with Pepper Market. Carribean Beach has a really nice shopping area. Both resorts have a pretty lake with boat rentals and are beautiful at night. We genuinely enjoyed both. Perhaps you can look at the slide shows available on AllEars.net and one property will appeal to you more than the other... But really, both are so nice.

We've stayed at both and just returned from our second stay at CSR and I prefer CSR. Great theme pool, convenient bus stops, and a shuttle cart that runs around the resort for those who don't want to walk. I like Pepper Market - had the best salad I've ever had anywhere last week at PM. My husband says their margaritas are excellent - and he's quite the expert on tequila and margaritas! Something else I've noticed - CSR's bus stops at the parks seem to be in convenient places as well - the first one at MK and one of the first at Epcot.

ANother vote for CSR. We've been to both and prefer CSR over CBR.
