Hi, Can anyone tell me their opinion on which resort they like better? Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach? I have 3 children and my boys love pool slides. The slide at Coronado Springs looked awesome! Any information would be great. Thanks!

My first inclination is to say CS because of the kids. The pool is lots of fun! It's also less spread out than CB and easier to navigate. CB has quiet pools which are great for adults, but you probably won't be getting much quiet time, anyway. Both resorts are very nice. I was not disappointed with either, but if I had to choose between the two again, I'd probably choose CS.

Both are great places to stay. The Caribbean Beach has a bit larger rooms with two sinks in the vanity. Coronado Springs has one sink. This may or may not matter to you.
The pool at CBR is a fun Pirate fort theme but a fairly short slide.
The pool ar CSR has a Mayan temple theme and is more spectacular with a much longer slide.
Both resorts are colorful though CBR has much brighter colors outside with more trees.
CSR has more sublte colors on the outside but the room interiors are very colorful but there are much less trees.
The food courts are both good though I prefer the one at CSR. It will cost you a bit more at CSR food court.
Either one will be great for you.

We have stayed at the CSR the last two of our 11 trips and we loved it!! The pool is definately awesome!!! We also appreciated the decor not being so "over the top" like the All Star resorts. It really helped to get the little ones down from the Disney high so they were able to fall asleep. The CS resort is beautiful, great room service and the bus service is excellent!!

Having said all that, we are going to CBR for the first time this June for the land part of our land/sea cruise package. I was a little hesitant about CB until I posted my concerns here on these boards. My fellow DISers have made me feel very comfortable (and in fact anxious) to visit CB. Hey, your at WDW no matter where you choose and you WILL have a great vacation!!!

Have fun and let us hear from you when you get home.

Both are great. It will come down to which theme you like best. We prefer CSR because of the pool. You can check out pics on my website below.

We have stayed at CBR in '93, CS in '98 and CBR again in '03.
Even though the CBR has undergone a remodel of rooms and public areas, I would recommend Coronado Springs with your
3 kids. Do you just have 4 or 5 total because that would also make a difference in where you are able to stay. I don't think either resort will allow 5 in rooms??
Pool area at CS is great. My boys loved the slide and size of the area. We liked the food area set-up better also. CBR's main pool is very small and crowded, and we always seemed to get food orders mixed up for some reason at CBR. Just learned after a couple of times to eat off CBR grounds!!!

We stayed at CSR in Dec. 2001 and loved it. It is especially beautiful at night. My DD loved the pyramid pool and dig site area. It was also very quiet compared to our stay at ASMu. The one thing I did not like was the set up at the food court which included an automatic gratuity on your bill just for someone to bring you a drink, you still have to get your own food!:earsgirl:
