From what i can make out, it seems like a massive place.

The kids are only young, and the youngest is tiny
i think they'd be knackered by the time we got to a theme park if they had to walk all over the resort first.

Could anyone whose stayed there before please just let me know,

1. Whether there is any internal transport?
2. How far away the bus stop is?
3. How far away the pool is?
4. How far away the restaurants are?

I know i probably wont get an exact answer, but on average maybe? how long is the walk to each of them?

Thanks alot.x :goodvibes

It is really not that big!

1. Whether there is any internal transport?
There used to be but it is a bit hit and miss now but if despertate you can use the buses as they are set up in such a way that they can be used to get around the resort
2. How far away the bus stop is?
There is a bus stop in each section of the resort plus one at the main building so you are never more than a minute or so from one.
3. How far away the pool is?
There is a quite pool in each section plus the main pool this is nearest to Cabanas and Ranchos.
4. How far away the restaurants are?
Depends on your building - we have stayed in the farthest building twice (Rancho 7A) and it has taken us no more than 10-15 mins to walk (not a fast walk more a leisurely stroll)

I know i probably wont get an exact answer, but on average maybe? how long is the walk to each of them?

CSR is a fantastic resort and we are booked for our 4th stay next September! If you have any more questions please ask. We have yet to stay there with our DD yet but met a family there (2 years running!) and they had little kids with them and didn't find it a problem as they still came back!

My best piece of advice is when going to the parks in the morning is to get on the bus at one of the stops by the rooms as it can be standing room only by the time you reach the main building - although not always as it depends on the conventions that are booked in at the time as the bigger the convention the emptier the buses!

We stayed at CSR this year-we were closer to the bus-stop than when at AKL or ASM. Quiet pool really close too. 3-5 min walk to main pool.

Park buses go one-way round the loop and Downtown disney buses go the other way - so you can ride on these back & forwards to reception/restaurants etc.

We were there in August and they had 'small carts' that stop and ask if you want a lift. It's not too far to walk - our kids aren't small anymore-just lazy teenagers:rotfl: and they coped!

Not sure if you've found it, but If you put Coronado Springs in the search you'll find a link to a website that gives loads of details about CSR written by a chap called Buzz-I found it really useful before our visit.

Have a great time:goodvibes

I completely agree with both the above responses but don't know if this add on will help.

Our first trip we won a holiday and the CSR was the hotel, no choice. DS was 5 and DD 20 months. Had a buggy with us but never used it, much easier to give DD the freedom to toddle the short distance to the bus stop and then hire a stroller. DS no problem with any of the walking. Might need a stroller if you are in the far rooms (7 and 6) which we have been in and make frequent trips to the main building but as these rooms are nearer to the dig site and main pool they do have their benefits with young children!!

Last year we stayed one week at CSR and last week at GF. We preferred CSR overall. The rooms were better at Gf but the grounds etc at CSR are amazing. (DD was 5 and DS 9 - walked everywhere all day no problems except for DD at MNSSHP when a stroller was required at about 8pm)

Next year we return to CSR because having visited all the other resorts during our last trip for meals we only really had a choice to make between CSR and AKL as they had the most beautiful grounds.

I'd give CSR a go - I doubt you'll find the distances a problem unless the adults or children in your group have huge mobility problems.

Last august we stayed in building 7A so one of the furthest away, it really wasn't that far to walk and pretty close to the main pool, where they also sell food and drinks. We were also not far from a bus stop :goodvibes

Nothing to add to what has already been said except that it is a fantastic hotel and you will love it :goodvibes

Forgot to say, if you're having a hire car this is a great hotel to stay at-you can park really close. At AKL we had to use chauffer parking the car was so far away (well the cheaper version otherwise known as DH:rotfl: )
