Loved, loved, LOVED CSR!

Oh my ... it looks so nice there! And your right, we already stayed at CBR in 2006, so looking for something different. Casitas look perfect!

So next question ... Ive looked at Buzz's map a hundred times! Which building? We'll use the gym, and the main pool, and the quiet pool, and the pepper market ...

We always stay in Casitas 4 or 5 and 4 is right by the quiet pool and the spa/gym. We were in Building 5 last year and it took me one minute to walk to Building 4 for the quiet pool and spa.

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Is it a long walk to the main pool and pepper market from there?

It took me five minutes to walk to the Pepper Market and about seven to ten minutes to walk to the main pool. I do walk a little more brisk than some people.

You'll find me in that hammock in...8 days!!!!!

Thanks to all for the great pictures! As you can tell, we're really looking forward to our next CSR vacation!

They look lovely! Im torn, cabanas or casitas.

you and i have the same problem! ;) i too am torn. i think i like the rooms of the cabanas but the outside area and location of the casitas....hmmmm maybe i'll toss a coin. :goodvibes

Well, I love the look of the casitas, not so much the cabanas. But the location of the cabanas looks more appealling. Im never going to decide this!

How about quiet pools, which one is nicer? cabanas or casitas?

If I were you, I'd pick the location that will best suit your stay instead of the outside apperance of the building. The rooms are going to be pretty much the same with just different color headboards or dressers. We preffered cabanas because it was close to the digsite and not that far from el centro. I also really liked the beach atmosphere, so that was my taste. But more important was that we were close to what we used most often. We had a quiet pool near us and it was nice, but the digsite was better.

I needed this "daily dose" of CSR this morning! Best of all we'll be there in only...3 days!!!:cool1:

We're thinking of changing our reservation to CSR (we've stayed before and loved it). What's the best way to request a building?

Call Central Reservations and add the request to your reservation. Some have said to fax an additional backup request 4 days before your trip, but I don't know if that really helps. I've read conflicting feedback on that one. Anyhow, we just told them when we booked and then got pretty much what we asked for when we checked in. We got the building nextdoor to the one we requested, which was fine.

Okay, I have been changing resorts over and over again. I PIFed my vacation yesterday and found myself begging for free dining and CSR. :rotfl:

I had to go back. :cool1:

I love CSR. :cloud9:

Thank you Buzz for all the great pictures, you made me want the same wonderful vacation I experienced years ago.

I guess once you have seen and lived at this beautiful resort it makes it hard to go to any other.:thumbsup2
