PART ONE!!!
This was our first trip to WDW. DH, DS's 13 and 9 and me from OKLAHOMA!

We checked in at 3:20 pm on Wednesday, July 16. I had asked to be in Cabana's 9B. We got 8B....at first I thought I would be sad but it turned out to be great. We had a water view with a great view! Our room was ready so off we went but not with out our 1st Disney Trip pins and 2 Happy Anniversary Pins for me and the hubby! We got a great big HOLA from Danny at the desk.

We were all so excited and asking so many questions...We forgot and Danny forgot to write down our room number so I had to call the front desk when we got to the cabana area...:rotfl2:

Very excited to get out of the car...It's a long way from OKLAHOMA

The room was very very clean! I moved the chairs away from the table and stacked a suitcase on them and one on the table. I put mine on the Fridge and my hubby kept his stuff in the bathroom dressing area. Plenty of space for all. We moved the coffee pot, glasses and ice bucket and put it on top of the TV Cabinet for more space...Worked out great.

One of the best tips I learned on this board was to take a POWER STRIP w/ you. We took 2. I plugged them in under the window and it it gave us tons of room for charging the 1000 things you have to charge these days.:thumbsup2

We quickly got our suits on and off to the pool...YIKES RAIN! We talked to some people who said it had rained a lot the past week but it was to clear off and it did. However you could set your watch to the 3pm shower. The Lifeguards let you swim in the rain...just not if there is lightning.

PART 2!

Most days we were at a park at rope drop...the buses were very nice, and prompt. We did drive our car a few days just so we could "see" a bit more of the area. We were at Bus Stop 4 a very quick and easy walk from our room 8501. We would then come back around 1--1:30 and hit the pool until the 3 pm show would come..

My boys loved the Dig Site pool and Slide. I Loved the slide. I think I did it as much as they did! However there is no photo evidence...:rolleyes1

We did not do the Disney Dinning Plan. We are not that big of eaters and didn't want our first trip to revolve around food so we did eat at the Pepper Market several times. Each day the food was great. My kids loved the alfredo and my youngest loved "making" his own sandwich. The pizza was very good as well. Even though Salami and Swiss was not an option...they made it for him and he felt special.
We ate there several times. WARNING...DO NOT ATTEMPT to eat the Wet Burrito by yourself.....

The views of this resort are just amazing. My husband and I would put the kids to bed (we felt safe leaving them alone for a short time locked in the room)...Go and get a drink from Maria at the Luna Bar...SHE ALWAYS REMEMBERED WHAT WE WANTED FROM THE FIRST DAY ON!!! She makes an AMAZING RUM RUNNER! She even wrote down her recipe for me. We would talk to a few people around the bar. We met some amazing folks from Baltimore, Ireland (they were spending 20 days at CSR...LUCKY) and New York.

We would then walk down to the hammock right in front of our Cabana Area and relax before going to bed. The stars, trees and CSR made for an amazing end of the day. The hammocks are so nice. I fell asleep twice w/ the hubby waking me up! Not a bad way to end a day.

My Hammock..I miss it.

The landscaping was just amazing. We even think we found a few hidden Mickey's.

There were Lizards in the bushes and the kids thought that was fun. Good think I never saw one in my room....

Mousekeeping did a great job keeping this family all straight. The room was always tiddy, and fresh smelling.

A week into our stay we celebrated our 18th Anniversary. We came home from Epcot to find balloons and an autographed photo off Belle and the Beast on our bed. The kids thought that was nice! So did I. It is funny to because our last name....BELL!

The next day we spent it at Blizzard Beach and I had booked a massage at 3:30. My masseuse was JESSICA. OMG I texted a friend of mine who loves massages and said..."MASSAGES AT DISNEY ARE MORE BETTER!" It was great. I got a 50 min massage. I was about 15 mins early because I wanted to get there before the rain hit and I only waited about 5 mins. They used a heating pad system and it was so relaxing. Just what i needed after all the walking in the parks and a 1400 mile return car ride home.

The work out area looked fantastic, however I was on vacation and I think I was walking enough...

The Staff, Bartenders, Lifeguards, you name it they were great!

When we started to book our trip we first looked at CBR. We like the beach and thought....Cool. When I saw there big pool was going to be in rehab I came to this board and read what Buzz and all of you guys said about CSR. I am really glad we picked this place. The bartenders did say in Jan and Feb it does get more of the SUITS but I never got that feeling. There was a dance competition going on so we did see girls with fancy outfits and lots of stage makeup on. There were a few Brazilian groups but we never heard them.

I came across one older lady smoking at the designated smoking area but other than that...Never saw or smelled smoke....YEAH

We did go down and walk around the BOARDWALK area at the Beach Club one night. It was nice and we did enjoy it. However the best part about CSR is that I felt like I had 2 vacations...One at Disney World and then in Mexico with sun, fun and one heck of a view.

I would like to thank everyone who helped us learn about how to prepare for our trip to WDW. I think we did great because of they help we got here on the DIS! I don't know when we will go again but I know I am dreaming about
it.

A few more random Shots.

I'm glade you and family had a great trip, your pictures are great, and you have very nice looking family.

Thanks for sharing all those great pics. Looks like a great resort! Can't wait to get there.

ou1247 - Thanks for sharing! Funny, the flowers in bloom in the summer are the same in the winter! Looking at your photos is like a walk through our last trip. Love it!
Good tip about removing the coffee pot. Will do that next time! And we are bringing an over the coat hanger bar shoe holder to put stuff in (if that makes sense). we did feel pretty packed in last time, and we'll be there longer this time, but still it was good. :)

Great pictures steery! Ah, that hammock is calling! I never did get on a hammock. I was always too excited to be going and doing something else! Maybe next time :)

Does anyone have any pics of the Junior Suites?

Please help! I have looked everywhere & can't seem to find any.
Checked Buzz's site but all I could find were the room layouts.

Thanks in advance! :)
