Several of you have mentioned the corndogs...Give me some more info. We had a corndog stand at our county fair back home that was downright AWESOME!!! Im excited about this Disneyland Corndog!!! Traveling from Ky to Cali...this better be a good corndog!!! LOL

Trying to describe the DL corndogs would be like trying to describe the smell of a rose....just kidding. But these are the best I've ever had. First of all, they are huge. The coating is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The hotdog itself is high quality. My husband isn't fond of corndogs but the last time we were at DL, he ate two in one day.
You will not be disappointed.

...but our Corn dog experience outside of Disney is Pogo Brand frozen ones.
They are crispy and slight sweet, I am going with some sugar in the batter. DD does not eat meat, so she opts for the battered cheese sticks.
Love dogs slathered with mustard! I do opt for apple slices over the potato chips though, too heavy other than that.

I really dislike corn dogs and won't eat them... except at the Little Red Wagon on Main Street. :)

The first time, I got one for my husband and DD and had no intention of eating it. I had read here that they were good and thought they would enjoy them. When we sat to eat it, it looked so good that I was tempted into trying a bite. Words fail to describe! I went right back in line for another one!

Now, they are one of my favorite treats at the parks and we get them several times a trip. We like them with the apple slices. It's such a perfect pairing.

I tried a corn dog in the real world after liking the one at DLR thinking my tastes had changed. Nope. Still hate corn dogs with one notable exception.

You can get them at the Corndog Cart on Main St, at Stage Door Cafe in Frontierland, and Corndog Castle in DCA.

There always seems to be a line for the corndogs. We have never try them before because DD has worked at a corndog stand for many years at the Calgary Stampede and we have had our share (last year, they had a bacon maple corndog). But since everyone is raving about the Disney ones, we are going to give them a try! :thumbsup2

I think the corn dogs at the Stage Door cafe come with fries instead of apples. And at the cart you can ask for only a corn dog and its cheaper.

I'm another of those who hate corn dogs normally but love the one's in DL. The biggest difference is that they dip the corndogs fresh, it's not a frozen corndog that they deep fry. The corndogs are huge, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The batter they use has more texture than the average, run of the mill corndog you can get anywhere. I love the corndogs at the Little Red Wagon on Main Street, and DL is the only place where I'll eat them.

I highly recommend the hot link corn dog at Corn Dog Castle in DCA.

DL is the only place I will indulge in a corndog, they are heaven on a stick!!

Found this out by accident last week. Had no idea we could get a corn dog at the Stage Door Cafe. After seeing the lines most everywhere else, DD and I stopped here for lunch. Yes, they come with fries and it was oh so yummy.

I love the DL corn dogs, but IMHO the ones at the Little Red Wagon are the best. I've had them at the Stage Door cafe and it was not as good. Why? My guess was the oil at the Little Red Wagon only has corn dogs fried in it. At the Stage Door maybe they fry fries, the mozzarella sticks, or something in the same oil too. Or maybe it's just all in my head, but either way I always get them from The Little Red Wagon, no matter how long the line is. Or at Corn Dog Castle if I'm at DCA, those tasted fine to me too.

But they are so good and almost always one of the first things we grab when we arrive.

I like the corn dogs from the red wagon as well! They're so good and one of my go to foods when i don't want to sit down at a TS restaurant.

I prefer Little Red Wagon as well. At Stage Door Cafe and Corn Dog Castle I'm not as likely to get a freshly made corn dog - Stage Door is busy and you can see baskets hanging out waiting for the other plates in the order = cold corn dog. At Corn Dog Castle I've seen them stack them in baskets near the order window so the cashier can basically throw one at you instantly = cold corn dog. Little Red Wagon - always piping hot!
