Corn people spotted in NJ!

Honest true story.

I was at the Dollar Tree getting a quick greeting card, with my kids. In front of us was a family getting what looked like a whole weeks worth of groceries , an entire shopping cart full of things!

I am silently wondering why on earth do people buy $70 worth of merchadise at the Dollar store when only one register is open... then another cashier opens up. I quickly pay for my cards, and walk towards my car.

The overflowing cart family was just pushing thier groceries out of the store.. two men grab two can of something (it did have a yellow label), open the can up, and start eating right there in the doorway of the dollar tree!

I was getting my kids in the car, and I couldn't stop laughing...

I guess they are done in Florida, and came to NJ!

I remember the corn people...But I don't get the "water drinkers" references you see from time to time on here.. I have a vague idea, but not the whole story.

The corn was one of the funniest threads I have read on the DIS since I started in 1999.

I remember the corn story!!! It's one that will go down in infamy here at the DIS. I also remember a duck story & a emu leg debate that were particularly funny. Anyone else?
