corn on the cob -- yes or no?

On the cob, yes. Off the cob, no it tastes like . . . well . . . something I'd rather not say here . . . an unfortunate left over "taste perversion" side effect from a med I took 6 years ago :p

::yes::

The best way to eat corn is to put the pot on to boil just before you go out to pick the corn :hyper:

I love corn on the cob. We probably have a month before we get fresh corn here.

"Yes" at home, "No" in public.

My mammaw (can you tell I'm from the South?) only has 7 rows of Silver Queen corn in this year, down from her usual 10. I usually spend two days with her, my mom and my aunts each July/August picking, shucking, silking, and cutting off the cob to put up cream style corn for the rest of the year..

You've made me very hungry!
