Corkage at Makahiki?

Does anyone have experience with bringing a bottle of wine to dinner at Makahiki? We always travel with some nice wine and most restaurants allow you to bring your own bottle for a nominal charge.

Can’t speak to Makahiki, but Roy’s does. The fee is pricy ($30) but it was worth it for us.

Honestly, that's not bad. Most restaurants I know charge $25-$50 for corkage, so $30 is the lower end of the range. Point is to allow the guest that wants to enjoy their $300 bottle from their home cellar, but not to get guests bringing their $20 bottle when they can just spend that much on the restaurant's wine list.

At $30... I'll have to consider whether to bring a good bottle from home for Roy's...
