Corey's college program segment???

As someone who just finished up her college program, 3 months ago...okay, not just. lol
But as someone who is 3 months out of the program, I would reccommend it to every one. I'm 19 and didn't see the party environment, but then again I was at Patterson Court (across from Chatham Square) and not Vista "Lay". And the only parties I saw were Disney hosted. I, personally, didn't get along with my room mates due to personality clashes, but I made OODLES of friends over at EPCOT and friends through them. It's a great experience and I'm re-applying again at the end of the month. ^_^

They do make it easy to extend your program and to become a seasonal cast member but it's a learning experience that allows you to network with some of the top people at the Disney World Resort. Plus, the environment isn't that bad either. Even if you're listening to a music loop that only lasts 18 minutes as opposed to the other loops at the other parks for 8 hours, five or six days a week. :rotfl:

i was stuck at hollywood and vine at the studios, but my roomie was in entertainment at the Studios.....she was 'friends' with Buzz who was on the big float in the Toy Story parade everyday. Her name was Mary Zerbe if you want to ask your friends if they knew her, i know entertainment was usually a close knit group.

and we had a few adults in our program, one was a woman in her 40s or 50s.

I never tried to stay on or extend....that is one thing I regret. I was dating my now husband at the time and we lived together before I left for the CP, which he wasn't happy about me going on the CP. So he was ready for me to come home. Plus, i had ONE class left to graduate. So I sort of felt the itch to graduate too. But i regret not staying or applying for an AI (although i know it is tough to get in). Life still turned out great, but I will always wonder....what if......would i possibly have gotten a great permament role eventually with the mouse? I'll never know. :confused3:wizard:

I'll have to ask... one of my friends may definately know her as he was good friends with Buzz's counterpart woody

Ah how much I loved Vista Way... So much fun! :-D We threw some KILLER parties.

The college program is a great way for college students to get some work experience. At WDW, you get to meet all sorts from people from all over the world and how to deal with all types.:thumbsup2
