As someone who just finished up her college program, 3 months ago...okay, not just. lol
But as someone who is 3 months out of the program, I would reccommend it to every one. I'm 19 and didn't see the party environment, but then again I was at Patterson Court (across from Chatham Square) and not Vista "Lay". And the only parties I saw were Disney hosted. I, personally, didn't get along with my room mates due to personality clashes, but I made OODLES of friends over at EPCOT and friends through them. It's a great experience and I'm re-applying again at the end of the month. ^_^
They do make it easy to extend your program and to become a seasonal cast member but it's a learning experience that allows you to network with some of the top people at the Disney World Resort. Plus, the environment isn't that bad either. Even if you're listening to a music loop that only lasts 18 minutes as opposed to the other loops at the other parks for 8 hours, five or six days a week.
