The love hate relationship continues. Les is staying and the insides of the tiger faithful are torn to shreds. It's great. They all hate him, but they really don't want him to leave, without knowing who's going to replace him. Unfortunately, the LSU faithful have the fear of the unknown. It's perfectly understandable. I think that most LSU fans feel that a dog in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. When they hired Nick Saban, he was their 5th choice. Everyone else turned them down. When they hired Les, he was their 6th choice, because everyone else turned them down. Everyone turns them down, because they’re the worst fans in the country. If the coach loses a game, they all say in unison; "fire the coach". If the coach wins a game, he's the greatest coach in the world. Les couldn't have happen to a better bunch.

Corey, you’re absolutely right. He does win. Unfortunately, he wins because he out talents people. With his recruiting prowess, he's able to get just enough talent to overwhelm the less talented, better coached teams, and that is what is killing many of the LSU faithful.

Count your blessings that Les is staying at LSU. Michigan just needs to pony up and pay for a top coach. They're plenty of great coaches out there and "Less" would have been just one more disaster that Michigan doesn't need.
