I always wanted to eat here becuase of the view but I'm really not into seafood AT ALL. I read the menus on allears and I saw there was some chicken and meat but if for some reason there is nothing for my tastes when I go, can I ask for a kid's menu? Is there even a kid's menu here or is it too fancy? My friends are into fish so I made the PSs but now I'm scared there will be nothing for me to eat. Will it be a problem if an eighteen year old orders from a kids menu?

We ate at the Coral Reef on our last trip (10/2003). There were 5 of us (incl. DS9,DD6,DS4), and although I can't remember the exact meal we each ordered, I do remember that they had other items such as steak and pasta on the menu (of course most things on the menu are seafood). Also from what I remember there was a kids' menu, and that's what we ordered from for our kids. If you never ate there before I'd recommend it. It is somewhat pricey, but most "nicer" restaurants in Disney are. The surroundings in the restaurant are amazing, especially when you are seated facing the "huge" fish tank, and you just watching the many species of fish swim on by while you're eating. Whether an 18 y/o can order from the child's menu, would probably be up to the server, but I'm sure if you kindly explain your situation, the server won't mind.
We celebarted all 5 of our birthday's at Disney and this was our celebration dinner, and we truly enjoyed everything from the food, the setting, and the service.

I told my waitress that I didn't like seafood but my husband really does so that is why we are dining. I ordered the chicken dinner off the kids menu and it came with thin green beans and mashed potatoes I believe. Anyway it was the larger of the kids meals and if I remember correctly it was $8.
