Hello,

Are there any new reviews of the Coral Reef? I did a search and came up with ones from September 07.

We have ADR's for May and we have never eaten here before.

Thanks.

I just ate there the other night and it was wonderful.... I had the steak... one fo the ladies in our group had the Mahi Mahi (Loved it), 2 others had the pork chop ( good rating), one had the Lobster soup, a ceasar salad and the crab cakes (loved them all)... and I forgot what the last one had..... but it was a great meal....

This is encouraging. I have had one good meal and two bad ones there, but haven't been to the Reef since Dec 06. Since it is such a blast to take kids there, I am hopeful that we can try it again and have a good experience.

We ate there late January and absolutely loved it. Our server was fantastic - by far the best we had all week. I had the steak, DH, DS & MIL had the Mahi-Mahi and all loved it. The atmosphere was nice. This quickly became one of our favorite restaurants at Disney World!!

We were on the "upper" tier of the 1st floor. My only complaint was the number of individuals that would come down next to the glass in between the tables and stand there for 15-20 minutes to take pictures. But, really, even that didn't spoil the evening.

Ate there are few weeks ago. We were the last of the lunch crowd, so we had very good service. Enjoyed our meals (lobster salad, soup; catfish); nothing spectacular but tasty enough for us. We'd certainly go back. FWIW.

We had lunch there in January (we've eaten here many times on prior trips). We much more prefer lunch there than dinner because it's generally not so chaotic. Food is good, not great, which is another reason why it's a place we will do for lunch but not dinner. There were 4 of us. One had the Ceasar salad, one had tilapia, two had catfish. We also had two appetizers, the surf n turf and the fish cakes, neither of which were outstanding.

The theming is one of my favorites at WDW. It's always cool and dark in there. I prefer to not get seated up against the tanks though because I agree, the people think it's perfectly okay to come hang over your back to take pictures and pose at the tank.
