Coral Reef

We are watching Full House right now and they are at Coral Reef in Epcot. I mentioned to DH that I think it would be cool to eat there once but he does not like Seafood. So I looked at the menu and they have steak! How is the food there? Or is it more for the atmosphere? I am thinking the kids would LOVE it. Do you see the tank all around the restaurant?

I have eaten there twice and loved both trips. The steak is very good and the seafood is good as well.

I thought it was over-rated. It's good, but not necessarily a good value for the price. There are very few tables with views of the aquarium like you would have seen on Full House. And, even though you can see from all around, we thought they relied a little too much on "ambiance" and not on high quality food. We've had much better at Spoodles, Flying Fish and even at Wolfgang Puck's. I guess it depends on what you like, some love it, others of us are luke-warm about it. If you go, I hope you have a great experience!

The steak was excellent, I highly recommend it.
