Coral Reef with kids

We have eaten there 4 times. Twice it was really really good, and the other two times it wasn't that good. So we are at 50%. The Bailey's & Jack Daniels Chocolate Mousse is a very good dessert they serve.

We requested a table next to the aquarium. We had to wait maybe an extra 10 to 15 minutes, but they got us seated right next to the glass. Hope you all enjoy yourselves.

Thank you everyone. I think we will keep our coral reef reservation. The food at the Garden Grill does not appeal to me unfortunately as it seems such a great concept.

I would never allow my children to disturb other people enjoying their food. Hopefully we will get a table close enough that my children can see the aquarium. Would I be able to request this? Obviously would be willing to wait until a table was available.

From personal experience, I have had the most luck with getting a tank side table when I have had one of the first lunch ADR times, before the restaurant is completely full. Their lunch runs right into dinner service there, so not sure that will work as well for dinner, but I would think an earlier dinner time couldn't hurt. And if you don't get a tank side table, not to worry, you can still see well from anywhere in the restaurant.

We've been to Coral Reef 6 times and have loved it every time. We request to wait to be seated near the fish tanks. The entrees that have been consistently good are the Chef's sustainable catch, the seared Mahi Mahi, and the strip steak.

We ate there two years ago and had no problems with it. We were seated promptly and the food was solid.

I have booked into coral reef for lunch with my 3 year old and 1 year old. Thinking the novelty of the Fish etc would help distract them while we eat. We have the dinning plan. I keep reading bad reviews. Has anybody had a good experience with this place?

Any other suggestions for a good sit down meal at Epcot suitable with little ones. We have tusker house booked for the day before so would rather avoid a buffet.
I have also booked Coral Reef and plan to request a seat near the aquarium for my children. I have read mixed reviews, but really there are mixed reviews with any place. Epcot is full of great restaurants and Garden Grill has been recommended to me many times and it is served family style. I still havent tried it myself yet though but people on these boards really like it.

Granted, this was a few years ago, and our kids were a little bit older (the youngest was maybe 4), but it definitely kept them, and us, entertained. We had a late reservation the wait time to be seated was longer than I'd have liked, but the meal was really good and we all loved watching the fish and other sea creatures.
