Coral Reef Wait Times

I have an ADR for 4pm this Sunday for the 6:45 showing of the Candlelight Processional. When we visited Epcot in early May 2008 and dined there, we had maybe a 10-minute wait. Of course, it wasn't during free dining or anything ...

Should I be worrying about the wait/dining time? I know we're talking about 2 hours and 45 minutes between ADR time and Candlelight Processional, but what if the ADR seating time is an hour late? Has it been that long for anyone here?

(Just looking for some reassurance. This is our "big" trip and we're bringing my mil, and maybe I'm feeling a bit super-stressed right now. Think Lamaze breathing might help? :lmao:)

We ate there 2 times during free dining in September. Both times we checked in about 15 minutes early, washed our hands, and the buzzer went off. Once was about 5:30 and the other was 1:00 on a Saturday during F&W--pretty busy but no wait.

Last time we had an ADR there we showed up 15 minutes early and they seated us 30 minutes late. This was NOT during free dining.

I think it depends on ADR time. You are eating very early so I don' think waiting will be a problem. We had a 4:20 ADR and I went to the bathroom after checking in and we were seated right away. When we left there were a massive amount of people waiting for their tables. This was in Aug and boy did they all look hot and cranky.

If you booked the Candlelight Processional package, you will be seated with time to get to your show.

If you booked Coral Reef and are just planning to see the CP after your meal, you may get seated late but you should have time. We have eaten at Coral Reef at least a half dozen times in the past 3 years and although we are almost always seated late, it is generally only 15-20 min late. That would still leave you enough time to make the show.

Thanks for the responses. I should have time then. I did book the CP package. I guess I was just getting cold feet, seeing that the trip is so close ...

I hope you have a wonderful time. The holidays at WDW are always wonderful.

Do not feel intimidated or as if you have made a mistake in timing when finally getting in line for the Candlelight Processional. A CM will be holding up a red flashlight at the end of the line up to get into the seating area. Don't think because the end of the line when you get there is in Morocco that you will never get in! The theater holds an umbeleivable number of people. You will get good seats! Just relax and Enjoy!
