Any recent diners at Coral Reef?

We were hoping to go to Coral Reef for lunch, sharing a meal, as we'd be having another good TS dinner than evening. We hear the steak is good, but thought it was served with brocollini & potatoes au gratin... til we saw another menu on line... something about watercress and tomatoes to accompany it? Blech! So which is it?

And is the Chocolate Wave served with raspberries (yum) or cherries (yuck)? Since we're considering one meal to share here, all parts of the meal make a difference!

Thanks for any input you have!

(And feel free to include your pictures, if you have any, in your reply!) :thumbsup2

Yeah it looks like they have changed that. I just checked allears.net.

The steak is very very good. I hope the steak is the same and they just changed the side items. The roasted potatoes sound really good!

oh and if you want I'm sure they would let you substitute the side items for something else. I know they let you do that at Le cellier. It's worth a shot.

Good service, great food, good view of tanks from everywhere. Course we went for the seafood, not the steaks so can't help you there, but maybe pictures will tempt you to the sea-side! Advise getting an early lunch reservation (our was 12:10 in the middle of the week - we waited about 10 minutes for a table. And there was about 10-15 people waiting when we were. But when we came out just over an hour later - around 1:15 or 1:30, there had to be 100 people waiting to be seated.)

Good thought!

Well it was back in Sept but the steak came with little roasted potatoes and they were good, the chococlate wave came with cherries, I didnt care for the cherries but the cake was outstanding. Just remove the cherries and you'll be fine!

I have to try the chocolate Wave. Everybody raves about it. I don't like cherries either so I will just give them to Tim.
