OK....my husband thinks Coral Reef for the atmosphere...I think Le Cellier because you all have made it soound so good. What should I choose..it is the last piece of the ADR puzzle!

Le Cellier... for those prices the food should be edible, which is iffy at Coral Reef!

Okay, my Opinion is......Coral Reef is really nice and wonderful, the atmosphere is good !!! BUT, the food at Le Cellier gets my vote for sure !!!
I have 4 and 7 year old DD's and we are going to Le Cellier in Canada....
BUT, we asked the hostess at Coral Reef if we could go in and look around the restaurant and show the kids, of course she said " of Course,No Problem"..... So go and check-out Coral Reef and look around....then head on over to Le Cellier for our wonderful meal !!! In My Opinion Anyways... :lovestruc :wave2: :flower1:

The Coral Reef was closed when we were there so I can't compare it to Le C. However, I can say that Le C was wonderful, even for my 5yos.

My boys just saw Coral reef on the WDW Full House episode and said "ohhh that place is cool. Can we eat there?" I think I'll keep my ADR for lunch and hope that I can write a good review when I get home.

At LC, I recommend dining early with children. Later in the evening, it's primarily adults. As a parent of 3, I will admit that when dh and I are out without the kids I do not want to hear someone else's kids fussing and/or running about. I try to be considerate of others when making plans for my family, too. During our Christmas trip, I don't think I got to finish a single meal with our family. 3 yo dd would finish her meal and be ready to "move on" before the rest of us. Thus, I would leave the rest of our party to finish while dd and I wandered around outside or such. I haven't dined at CR in some time or with my children, so I'm not sure if the huge tank of fish would keep the kids more entertained. There's really nothing at LC to excite children. (Parents -- yummmm, yes; children -- no.)

Service at LC can be quite slow, which only aggravates the problems experienced with tired, cranky children at the end of a looonnnnggg day in the parks.

That's so funny. I had the same thing happen last time the Full House episode was on - so we're now eating dinner at the Coral Reef on our first night in July. We also have a dinner reservation for LeCellier (one of our favorites).

Well, I have PS for both for our April trip. I haven't been to CR in more than 15 years, but remember the food being okay and the prices being off the chart! But....DS (7) has asked every time we go to WDW if we can eat there, so this time we will. We haven't ever been to LeC, so I don't know.

DH and I love Le Cellier and our kids have always been good here, no matter what age there were when we dined there. They have great choices for kids, and they love the pretzel bread. I am not big on seafood and have never eaten at Coral Reef.

We dined at both a couple of weeks ago with an 18 month old and I would definitely vote for Coral Reef. Service was much, much better at Le Cellier (we had exceptionally bad service at Coral Reef, but I'd still go back...just avoid a server named Roberto), but we thought that the food was very good at Coral Reef. In fact, the desserts were the best of our trip. The ambiance at Coral Reef is incredible.

That is so funny, my kids want to eat there for the very same reason! They asked me if you can really do a radio show in the tank like uncle Jesse and Joey did. :rotfl:

Have never been to Coral Reef, but have been to Le Cellier, and just based on the atmosphere, I think coral reef would be a better choice. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our meal at all at Le Cellier (I was so disappointed) this January. I have gotten better filets at my grocery store, and the service was quite slow. The bread sticks were nothing special in our minds (sour dough bread, pretzels and multi grain bread...). None of us cared for the famous cheddar cheese soup, but the beef barley was very good. We did however, like the desserts, but for 3 of us at at cost of $150 if we werent' on the dining plan, no, we won't be back soon.

Coral Reef The kids will like better.
