Coral Reef or Garden Grill?

Hi! I have made ADR's for Coral Reef for our EP day, but in one of the books I was reading Garden Grill has better reviews. We're already doing 4 of our 7 meals as character meals. With 3 young children (that don't especially do well at long sit down dinners) would you do GG for the characters and family style meal or CR for the aquarium and change of pace?

I say Coral Reef because the aromas that come out of GG turn my stomach.

We have had dinner twice at CR and once (in 2007) at GG. No question, Coral Reef is much better. We did not like GG at all, and that's one place no one in my group asked to return to when we made our 2008 plans. But we'll probably return to CR in 2009. For us, this is not even close.

My family loved Garden Grill, and Chip and Dale's antice were absolutely hilarious! They had DH dancing in the aisles! Mickey and Pluto were great as well. We enjoyed the food the day we were there--my kids ate more there than at some other places. I haven't been to CR, so can't comment on that, but your children would probably LOVE GG.

No question for our group of 8 adults and 10 kids. Coral Reef! The kids loved the entertainment of the big aquarium and the adults loved the food!! Garden Grill was very average food! Coral Reef will be an annual for us!

Coral Reef has much better food. On our last visit, the steak was the best we had the whole week. GG is not bad, but nothing special. Also the last time I was there the restaurant rotated. I did not think it would bother me but it did-felt sick after that meal.

Depends on what you want for a dining experience. The food is fine at both places. GG has the characters so its a little less formal. CR is a bit more upscale with a great atmosphere.
