We have an ADR for both the Captain Grill and Coral Reef and we are having trouble deciding which one to go too!!

Any ideas?!

Thanks!

For the entertainment value, Coral Reef; ask for a table with a good view of the tank. You don't need to be right up against the window but you'd prefer not to be the very top/back row.

For the food, Captain's Grill. And if you are on the DDP, this is one of the restaurants that offers a 'prix fixe' option where with 1 DDP credit you can get an app, entree, and dessert (very limited group of each to choose from, no substitutions - but the group contains some pretty good choices).

Having been to both, I'd go with Coral Reef. It's just a more fun "experience"...

We love coral reef! Don't know if you have young children, but IMO eating in a park can save travel time that wears your kids out!

I had the longest wait at Coral Reef but a great meal so that would be my choice. I did not enjoy my meal at Captain's Grill at all.

We've been to both, and if you've never been to either, I say go to Coral Reef... Of course, for our upcoming trip, we're booked at Capt Grill and not CR, so I guess you can't lose! :goodvibes

I just didn't enjoy my experience at coral reef last week. Server wasn't very friendly, food wasn't great, and the chocolate wave I was looking forward too wasn't what I expected. Sorry, I'd go with a different place.

We've been to both restaurants several times, and 3 of my family members and I agree that our choice would be Coral Reef. Capts. Grill can be more inconsistent food- and service-wise. We also appreciate the atmosphere at CR more.

CAPTAINS GRILLE!! The food was really gross at Coral Reef. Although if you have never been to Coral Reef I would probabaly just suggest going there just because of the atmosphere. It really is a beautiful restaurant, I just wasn't impressed with the food!

What does the "prix fixe" option mean... I have done the DDP before and never heard of this. We are thinking of doing the Captains Grill (have been there b/4) and liked it.
