We are going back on forth on this one and so far they are both available for the day we are looking for. So I decided to come here for some opinions. Thanks

Are you looking for seafood? Then go to the Clam Bake.

Coral Reef has been really hit or miss lately. And the funny thing is, the most popular item on the menu is their steak :rotfl:

We enjoyed the Clam Bake, lots of variety.

Coral Reef wasnt all it was cracked up to be for me..the Chocolate Wave was good, but....;)

Seems it has been widely panned on this site..the podcast had a review and the guy wasnt thrilled at all...

We're doing the Cape May buffet in September (hopefully):confused3

We have done both (tons of pics of CM in my Oct link and CR in my Jan link) and def prefer Cape May!

There is no actual question posed here. I hear cit chat about some place called Coral Reef:sad2: and then I hear you talking about the best seafood buffet on Disney property.

I would suggest you listen to the 08/08/06 Dis un plugged podcast and then the most recent as well. It has a review of Coral reef then and a revisited review now. My friends went there and were very disappointed.

I have been on two seven day trips in the past year and eaten at Cape May three times. The steamed clams and muscles are out of this world. They have a wonderful variety of non seafood delights as well. They have great sausage and peppers. They carve a roast. I have eaten there three times and still have things I want to try next time.

Don't get me started about the deserts. I don't believe my wife made it through a plate before she hit the desert table. My vote (in case you didn't figure it out)
is for Cape May. BTW if there is ever a problem and you can't get a ressie for Cape May just ask for 5:30 and they almost always can fit you in. That is when the clam bake dinner starts.

Enjoy your trip whatever you decide.:thumbsup2

We have done both and let's just say Coral Reef was a one time only, the Cape May we do almost every trip. Its a wonderful buffet. If you are going for the food definitely do the Cape May, if you are going for an experience try the "underwater atmosphere" of Coral Reef, just for the experience alone.

We would strongly recommend Cape May!
:thumbsup2
