Our 90 day mark is next week, and all along I've been thinking I wanted to go to the clam bake for Mother's day, and I still do. However, a friend of mine was just raving about Coral Reef. We have 5 children ages 7 and 3. We are planning lots of fun/character meals for the rest of the stay, so I'm not too concerned with entertaining them for this one meal (on my day!:cheer2: ) Just wondering which other people prefered before making my final decision.

Ok. So I have not been to Coral Reef since we could not get res. when we went to WDW last August. We are DEFINITELY going during our trip in June. ::yes:: But, I have been to the Clambake and I loved it so much. It isn't bad for children since they have so many other options besides the clams, but for those that like Clams...yummy! :bounce: I really want to try other restaurants when we go in June since our previous trip was our first, but it is tempting to go back for those clams and the experience. Plus...the BC is gorgeous.

I know it's not one of the restaurant's listed but have you thought of trying the Mother's Day Brunch at Epcot? It's located between Canada and the UK in the huge Millennium building. I ate there several years ago and absolutely loved it. Huge selection and they even had a strolling violinist. The place is huge....and the desserts were delicious.

I had dinner at Cape May Cafe and really loved it but the Mother's Day Brunch was far superior.....whichever you pick, enjoy your day!

I love both your choices and are planning to do both in May again. We tried Coral Reef for the first time in August though and this is my new favorite - going for our anniversary meal in May.

I have not been to Coral Reef for a while. I never thought it was that terrific and yet people love it.

I do however like Cape May and have gone many times.....I just like the idea of choice and it is good, but be prepared that you may wait even with reservations as I have never just walked right in... people like this restaurant and it is always crowded.

Thank you all so much for your input. While I love the idea of eating beside the aquarium wall, the menu at Cape May better suits us. I have 2 children who are picky, one who eats a good variety and 2 who are very adventurous eaters. I like the buffet idea, that way all my kids will find food that they like and the adventurous ones won't get bored having to always eat mac and cheese and chicken fingers. Thank you so much...
