Has anyone ever just took a chance and ( without and ADR ) dropped in to Coral Reef at a slow time to have an appetizer/drink/dessert only, not a full meal. had to eliminate it as an ADR.. based on reviews and too many other options, but would love for the kids to see the fishies :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: while having a snack... Which brings up another question, which I think I already know the answer to, since it is a T/S restaurant, I would guess you couldn't use C/S credits.:confused3

Hi,

You can still make an ADR even if you are not having a full meal. I would suggest you do that rather than try to walk in...

Coral Reef is one of the places that fills up quickly. I have gone several times in the past few years and haven't been able to get an ADR and definitely couldn't get a wlk-in. We tried every trip but were turned away . We are going in September and there were only a few openings left for lunch....dinner is already filled up. The desserts look really great...we can't wait.

Well, I haven't been there since 2000, but we tried to just have desserts there. They had the Millenium desserts and I really wanted to try it. We walked in soon after the lunch service started, still pretty early and asked if this would be possible. The CMs acted as if I had three heads. They had us wait there for a good 20 minutes to try and figure out if we could do this or not. A few people came in after us without PSs and they walked on in. This was our first trip to I was a little embarrassed and feeling if I had done something wrong, but I had already talked the place up to the kids so I waited anyway. Finally a server was holding the door open for a person in a wheelchair and asked us to come on in. The check-in people explained that we just wanted desserts, then the server looked at them like they had three heads and she told us to come on in. She was great and so were the desserts.

Its good to hear things have changed. I think everyone is right about the ADR of course. We are planning to get ADRs for November for a full meal so there are no hard feelings.
